As an Italian, I've always avoided the Olive Garden Restaurants. However, I was given a gift card to them and tried it while in NYC. I had a pretty decent meal and the service was good. I haven't been back since, though.

Politico.com is reporting that Olive Garden is denying that they are withdrawing their advertising:

Don't expect Drudge or Fox to retract their story. That is something a responsible news organization would do.I had heard that they got 3 sponsors on the day of the protest (CBS). Why is it the only news that is reported is the sponsors who drop their ads? 3 sponsors on the day of such a highly publicized protest I would think would be news worthy.

The best things about Olive Garden are their salad and bread sticks. Mmm nom nom.

Went to the OG once. Once, and never went back. There were pubic hairs in the food. Not hair, hairs. A clump of them.

Ooooh, NYGirl I LOVE their Farfalle Capelli Pubici. Ask for the chef to give it an extra sprinkle of Fromunda Cheese.

Darden Concepts Inc doesn't own Romano's Macaroni Grill. Romano's Macaroni Grill owns Romano's Macaroni Grill. I could've sworn that Brinker, Inc owned Macaroni Grill, but I guess I'm wrong.
Darden Concepts owns, among other things, Olive Garden and Red Lobster. Also, Bahama Breeze, which I love! The one in Vegas is super fun!

It was the one in Times Square. Went in hungry, left disgusted. Or whatever the real slogan should be.

The top reason to avoid Olive Garden--you can just go to Carrabbas, which is what the Olive Garden wishes it were.
I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."

God, I love Carrabbas. Their Pasta Weesie is to die for. Possibly the best thing I have ever tasted.

Oh, wow. Carrabbas is the one place I think is actually worse than Macaroni Grill. I prefer Olive Garden to either of those.
But I do love Blue Bell ice cream. They used to have a flavor called Chocolate Decadence that was dangerous to have in the house.
