It's a book club a friend put together a few years ago when she became a stay at home mom and was craving adult conversation. We've been trying to read different things by giving ourselves a few different catagories...for example, each year we try to read at least one non-fiction/memoire type book, and one classic..(as me about the time we all read different abridged versions of The Count of Monte Cristo!).
Lately though, I've not been thrilled with some of what we've been reading...it's been a lot of fluff. We just read "The Christmas Train" by David Baldacci....not exactly a great work of fiction...but most of the group enjoyed it. Anyway, next up are "Lion Witch and the Wardrobe" and "Prince Caspian" from The Chronicles of Narnia. At the very least there should be some good discussion from these!
