Shah, you lewd lizard!
Or, since he's a young turk, who he WOULD HAVE voted for.
As if I don't have enough problems around here.
When I think of BSo, I think...mild-mannered, soft-spoken, thoughtful, considerate, sensitive and sweet.
And then I put down my bong, and laugh my ass off.
I really am "mild-mannered, soft-spoken, thoughtful, considerate, sensitive and sweet."
But I'm also homophobic, remember. Hence my attitude on the boards.
(that's an eye roll, by the way.)
Well, if he actually voted, well then it is better than almost half of the twits here who voted!
I cannot believe he voted for Shrub, but maybe he got Shrub confused with some other green plant?
Howard Dean?
He me? Who's he?
*grabs popcorn*
Well BSO - I thought you were a he, but now that I think about it, perhaps not. I thought it better to use he than it. Perhaps, knowing the makeup of this board, it is better to use she when in doubt!
::breaks fourth wall::
::grabs popcorn::
BSo is a bigger bitch than Elton John.

with or without butter?
I'm a he, you fossil!
That is what I said at first you ratbastard. Then you got all hissy on me.
I am taking that popcorn back, no butter or you!
Oh, now THIS gets good.
When I said, "Me he?"
I meant, "I cannot believe he voted for Shrub, but maybe he got Shrub confused with some other green plant?"
Did you mean me when you said he there?
Pretty much, yep. I did not find you to be a huge Bush supporter. Maybe this has changed these post few months and you were a stronger supporter last year. Who knows.
I was more anti-Kerry, than pro-Bush.
Why anti-Kerry?
And, that I could understand. If the election was today, would you still vote the same way?
I probably would.
I mean, it's choosing the lesser of to lessers....but I don't see Kerry controlling this country. I mean, the major issue at the time was the war (well, it still is I suppose), and I thought Kerry's ideas would be very counterproductive (I have been loving that word!).
I mean, also, I wouldn't say many countries likes the US as it is. I don't think Kerry would have changed that. The fighting might have ceased, but I think the country would be in an identity crisis.
I mean, I guess it's really what you believe. I am not saying I am right - and I do not wish to force my opinions down people's throat - and I am biased being a Jew. I think that war in the Middle East was inevitable...and, for me, I am glad we went to war.
It's hard to explain - as an American and as a Jew. (Of course, plenty of Jews are against the war.)
In short, I'd rather have a different president...but I don't see what the sense in all the anti-Bush campaigns. I am sure he knows how people feel about him and, though it is cliche, the country has become very divided. I think we would have been more divided had Kerry won.
Remember, republicans are quietly supporting Bush - or not outwardly regretting their folly for voting him into office. It's the liberals who are doing all the protesting.
Imagine what it would be like if Kerry one. You'd have the opposite effect.
(YWIW is anti-Bush and a Jew.)
Well, Kerry was not a great choice. But what will be interesting are the mid-term elections to see how many seats are lost. I cannot blame someone for sticking with a known commodity that I thought was a dolt, but whose doltdome has really only gone on display post election. Allright. Off to bed.
Well, like I said. Jews are mostly liberal.
But I remember for the electionw e heard from two different speakers - one from the head of the Jewish democrats, and the other from the Jewish Republicans.
I also remember liking the Repub better.
It's really all an opinion. There is no right answer. Like religion. So when people fight about this guy, or that guy, or whatever...it is just an opinion. I don't feel any different now than I did in 1997.
Jews are very narrow in their backing of any party that supports Israel. The Christian Right supported Israel because Jews have to have Jerusalem in order for Christ to return. After that, they do not really care. And Jews just see the support, not the motivation. Israel should come second to the needs of our country (I am in the minority here). OK - off to bed.
Night all.
