Yes, but notice it was pretty negatively lively. I'm hoping all this stuff will subiside and we'll get back to the happy, perverted, and friendly BWW Idol thread.
No Springsteen, Tiff?? I would LOVE to hear that!

Then I propose a happy questionnaire time for the contestants and listeners!
1. What theme have you enjoyed the most? Least?
2. What theme do you wish we'd have done? (It's too late to change the themes now, but it may still influence what the final 3 choose for their freestyle song!)
3. What's been the top 5 stand-out songs for you?
4. Funniest moment we've had so far?
5. What would you change? (And there HAS to be something.)
6. What, aside from BSo's meltdown and the whole thing from the last few days, will you remember when this is all over?
bdwaygirl, well now you have your answer for #2!

1. I enjoyed the 90's opposite gender theme a lot.
2. I dunno.
3. You Outta Know by Akiva. I still listen to this song often. And not just cause I love Akiva. Hard Candy Chrisatmas by Rath. I just love that song! Candy by jerby. This Kiss by Kerrie. Great song.
Crash and Burn by Allie. Another one I listen to often. I tried to pick favorites from different people. That was HARD though!
4. Meh. I dunno. There's been lots. And most of them didn't involve me.
5. Honestly, I really like it how it is!
6. I will remember Tiff and Kitzy and Spidey and Clay and Steven. :)
1. What theme have you enjoyed the most? Least?
I loved the C&W theme--it was so different. Surprisingly, the movie theme was weakest, but if BWW Idol happens again, I bet you could adjust the restrictions on movie songs to open up the possibilities.
2. What theme do you wish we'd have done? (It's too late to change the themes now, but it may still influence what the final 3 choose for their freestyle song!)
50s!
3. What's been the top 5 stand-out songs for you?
Well, I know spidey's "Sunday Morning" was stuck in my head for days.
4. Funniest moment we've had so far?
Our being fooled by WannaBeCallas.
5. What would you change? (And there HAS to be something.)
Hmmmm. I think much has been said on this subject. Bottom line is that this was a daring experiment and much was learned along the way. If it happens again, I imagine much will be different.
6. What, aside from BSo's meltdown and the whole thing from the last few days, will you remember when this is all over?
How many new people I got to become familiar with because of this.
And, I'll remember a few other things, as well.
Good answers! I'll answer it in a bit. I'm still thinking up #3. Tuberculosis, answer #1 and #2 IN FULL!
I was really disappointed by the movie theme too - the possible options weren't as wide as I thought they would be, even when we expanded it to include either Best Song noms or Best Picture-nominated soundtracks. If we ever did this again (I can't even type that with a straight face), we probably wouldn't have a movie theme, or if we did, it would just be that - a movie theme, without any restrictions.
Alright, off to answer the questions myself!

Tuberculosis, answer #1 and #2 IN FULL!
Is that the wind talking?
I'll be around when I have the time.. Same as always..
1. I can honestly say that I liked them all. Round 4 and Round 6 were my favorites.
2. 80’s music, maybe?
3. Wake me up when September ends, Jerby
Your eyes, Jacx
I know the truth, Kerrie
Hard Candy Christmas, Rath
Don’t look back in anger, Spider
4. The first round. JK.
5. If I have to say something. Only constructive criticism from the judges.
6. How talented these people are.
1. What theme have you enjoyed the most? Least?
Most favorite - Love Is In the Air
Least favorite - To The Movies
2. What theme do you wish we'd have done? (It's too late to change the themes now, but it may still influence what the final 3 choose for their freestyle song!)
Something involving my Bruuuuuuuuccccccccceeeeeeeeeeee!!!
3. What's been the top 5 stand-out songs for you?
It was difficult to choose only 5, but..
One Song Glory, Still Hurting, Beautiful Disaster, Wake Me Up When September Ends and Superstition
4. Funniest moment we've had so far?
Sorry, but it had to be BSO's meltdown. I was online that night, and it was just hysterical waiting to see what was going to happen! (Sorry BSO!)
5. What would you change? (And there HAS to be something.)
Off the top of my head, I really can't think of anything.
6. What, aside from BSo's meltdown and the whole thing from the last few days, will you remember when this is all over?
That there are some amazingly talented people on this board, and it was wonderful to get to hear them!

1. What theme have you enjoyed the most? Least?
I think we had some of our best songs in Round 2(Pop/Rock). I also really do this that this past round (Brit/Canadian) was stand-out.
2. What theme do you wish we'd have done? (It's too late to change the themes now, but it may still influence what the final 3 choose for their freestyle song!)
I agree with '50s - that was going to be a theme for one of the final rounds, but somewhere the math got screwed up so we had to nix it at the last minute. In a similar vein, I think Big Band would've been great. And Metallica.
3. What's been the top 5 stand-out songs for you?
I actually can't narrow this down to 5 songs, so I'll just list what DID make it into my iPod in order of the rounds:
"One Song Glory", JACXR
"Wake Me Up When September Ends", jrb
"Sunday Morning", spidey
"I Know The Truth", Kerrie
"Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again", TDiva
"Gimme One Reason", spidey
"One For My Baby", jrb
"Still Hurting", Kerrie
"Shadowboxer", Kitz
"If I Ain't Got You", Allie
"Don't Look Back In Anger", Spidey
4. Funniest moment we've had so far?
The WannaBeCallas fiasco was funny (I wish we could reveal who it was!)...bound4broadway was hilarious...and I'll always remember Cruel_Sandwich fondly for the dirty-perv-in-a-van rendition of "All I Care About Is Love". (And before anyone gets their panties in a twist, he's good-natured when I rib him about this.) Oh, and the BSB vs. N*Sync post-off.
5. What would you change? (And there HAS to be something.)
Where to start?! For one, we'd keep it strictly for amateurs. I want to say we wouldn't have judges' scores, but we did it for a reason, and I'm glad we did, because - without going into too much detail - we had a couple of voting fiascos, mischief from others, and really close calls that were broken by the judges' grades. I'd also make the "season" shorter, because my God, this has been going on for a long time. I'd also look into getting guest judges and tangible rewards for the winners. (Although I'm sure Clay and Stephen will agree with me when I say, "Isn't exposure on Sunset & 42nd the greatest reward of all??") There's a lot more I'd change, but I'm just focusing on getting through this season without worrying about future ones.
6. What, aside from BSo's meltdown and the whole thing from the last few days, will you remember when this is all over?
That despite the occasional drama, I met a lot of good, talented people from this; I think I'm on speaking terms with everyone who competed, and my circle of friends on here has greatly expanded. I've learned a lot and I've contributed a lot. And that's made this all worthwhile.
1. What theme have you enjoyed the most? Least?
Favorite: 90's Opposite Gender
Least: Oscar theme!
2. What theme do you wish we'd have done? (It's too late to change the themes now, but it may still influence what the final 3 choose for their freestyle song!)
50's-60's Rock!
3. What's been the top 5 stand-out songs for you?
Jacx--"One Song Glory"
Jerby--"Candy"
Kitz--"Maybe This Time"
Kerrie--"Still Hurting"
Jaily--Black History Month entry hahaha CLASSIC!!!
4. Funniest moment we've had so far?
Been WAY too many!
5. What would you change? (And there HAS to be something.)
That is stayed in the name of fun instead veering off course now and then.
6. What, aside from BSo's meltdown and the whole thing from the last few days, will you remember when this is all over?
The amazing talent that this message board has.

Ah. Definetly agreeing with the BRB and N'sync face off as the funniest moment. That was fun.
*reminices*
Oh, jrb's "Candy" will always remind me of when I sheepishly PMed Stephen, going, "What the F*CK was that kickin' intro??" and he was all, "Hustle & Flow, duh."
Remember the days when people didn't know how hard it was out here for a pimp?
Broadway Legend Joined: 8/22/05
Hah. I just thought it was jrb being...jrb...
Yeah. I'm glad the horror of the pimp's living circumstances were finally brought to light.
And the new av, Tiff...tres lovely.
Thank you. It's in honor of Jane2 as COTD.
<-- Is Jane2
1. What theme have you enjoyed the most? Least?
Most-90's Gender Reversal Brit Canada was a close second
Least-Oscars
2. What theme do you wish we'd have done? (It's too late to change the themes now, but it may still influence what the final 3 choose for their freestyle song!)
80's or, a slightly obscure musical week (as in nothing recent or something that is done by community theaters often or something that has been on tour)
3. What's been the top 5 stand-out songs for you?
Still Hurting-Kerrie
If I Ain't Got You-Allie
Candy-Jerby
Gimme One Reason
Go the Distance-Jerby
4. Funniest moment we've had so far?
The bsb/Nsync thing was great. As was the Hard out here for a pimp intro to Kiss, it was funnier once I understood it after the Oscars.
5. What would you change? (And there HAS to be something.)
I would like to see guest judges.
6. What, aside from BSo's meltdown and the whole thing from the last few days, will you remember when this is all over?
All the new friends I have made on here and the fact that I chose to become a legend in a bww idol thread because this is where I got to know my favorite people on here. I will also remember how talented people are.
1. What theme have you enjoyed the most? Least?
Freestyle and pop, there are several stand outs from those rounds, with songs I loved! I <3 the 90s could have been so much hotter, I was dissapointed with the song choices.
2. What theme do you wish we'd have done?
Jazz or a round of just legit. Bad 80's music. <333 Foreign language...
3. What's been the top 5 stand-out songs for you?
I'm really not going to go through itunes and my computer to look for the songs, and some of the songs just didn't stick even though I enjoyed the performance due to the type of music. Was it Jac? OSG and Your Eyes. Orgasmic much?
Musical_Nerd, I Speak Six Languages. Spidey's Summer of '69 among other things, but that's in my head right now. I can't put my finger on a song, but I did love quite a few by Kerrie and Allie.
4. Funniest moment we've had so far?
The judges at wee hours in the morning with BSo = forever fascinating.
5. What would you change? (And there HAS to be something.)
Except for some themes I wasn't too thrilled with, there was nothing that could be tangibly controllable that I would want to change.
6. What, aside from BSo's meltdown and the whole thing from the last few days, will you remember when this is all over?
Tiff is a special cow. (Oh I thought the question said, what will you remember. Hrrrrm, I'll remember parts of it, and the concept of it.)
I think the people hoping for the '80s will be pleasantly surprised. Just a hunch.
Tiff, I love the Avatar. Brings back memories of Saturday nights when I was just a wee small hag!
You were YOUNG?!
Yes, but is was a very long time ago, back, when I was in school . . .
And dinosaurs...
...had yet to be created.
