Ended up catching this between events yesterday, and it was a lot of fun, although I didn't remember the backstory of Apollo's death (and I guess they weren't too keen on bringing Rocky IV into the mix), but it hardly mattered.
I think we who are immersed in the arts are more than just immersed in arts. Like those who enjoy watching or playing sports as their dominant cultural interaction become invested in sports management, sports business and fantasy sports gambling, we in the arts wind up playing armchair critic, armchair producer and armchair broker.
It's nether right nor wrong, it's just a side effect of living in a media age that didn't exist before television and the Internet made instant response mass media a thing.

I don't think it would have to be one host. It could be all sorts of folks in four hour blocks. Morning drive time with Kiki & Herb, for instance.
