I'm reading The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollard. Has completely changed the way I eat. I highly, highly recommend it!

I just finished "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. It was wonderfully touching, and so so sad. But I love that stuff.
I also want to share the love the "The devil in white city"- great read!!
and I am now starting on "good Hair days"- a journal from one of the original cast members of "Hair" on Broadway, and in many of the touring productions.

Just picked up "The Road." I have read all of McCarthy's other books and didn't necessarily like them but I did him the honor of finishing all of them. Usually if I don't like a book, I will abandon it at an early stage.

For what it's worth, kean, I found The Road far more accessible than other McCarthy novels I've read (which, while beautifully written, can be a chore to get through). The Road is fast reading and very emotionally engaging.

Just finished Topdog/Underdog by Suzan-Lori Parks. Last week I read Angels in America for the first time, and it was marvelous.
Next is either Cat on a Hot Tin Roof or Kite Runner. Haven't decided.
Oh, and I need to read the Harry Potter series again before the last book comes out. Darn.

I'm reading The Odyssey right now for school, but I want to read some plays this summer.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I finished reading all six Harry Potter books yesterday! It only took me about two weeks.

I am trying (for the 500th time) to read Black Houst by Stephen King and Peter Straub. The Talisman is one of my favorite books but this sequel just does not suck me in like the other one did. I just keep getting too bored really fast.

A Rush To Injustice
This is the story about the DuKe Rape Case. It's an increible book. I knew it was a miscarriage of justice, but i wasn't aware of how deep this went in North Carolina. It's fascinating reading.
Unfortunately I've returned the book to the library already and can't remember the author's name. He's a Duke grad.

Water for Elepahnts by Sara Gruen. Weird title, but great book, so far.
