I don't think Lance is interested in Cody...I've said it before: Two nuts in search of a bolt.
Wow, I can't believe there was no discussion on this show this week. Actually, I guess with more important things like the election, I can see why.
Yesterday has to have been one of the best days this week, so far. Yes, I am so happy that Susan Lucci is finally gone. Her leadership in the group dance was bad, but then again, she is just not good. I was actually wondering though if the couples paired together was fair. But then, it was up to Susan and Warren to choose their teams, so I guess it was fair.
I wonder who the other couple in the bottom two was. If I am not mistaken, they said that the elimination, right until the end, was in no particular order. I think they staged it that way to have the "drama" of "Team Cha-Cha" together, waiting to see who got axed.
I totally forgot this was on last night. I would have been rejoicing to see Susan kicked off. Two nights in a row of utter jubilation!
Who was in the bottom two?
Why did they think that Lance was so good? I just don't get him and Lacey.

I thought Lacey and Lance's first dance was quite good. Len has real issues with Lance and I'm beginning to think it's because he's gay because there's no reason for his attitude when other couples are making worse mistakes. He's determined to find something to mark them down for.
I don't get Brooke and Derek. She makes a lot of mistakes and they still give her high marks. It's like Jason and Edyta last year getting tens for a dance in which he slipped twice.
I agree about Len and Lance. I'm starting to think he is homophobic. However, I don't agree with you about Brooke. She is continually in a class by herself. Even if she's making mistakes, she's superior to every other person.
Isn't Len known for being the hyper-critical one in general?
I don't really pay much attention to anything the judges say. I just watch the dancers, and I simply do not enjoy Lance. But I dislike Lacey even more. Lance might be better with a different partner. I think he makes really silly facial expressions and they're distracting to me.
I wish Cody would leave. Not for dancing purposes, it's just that everytime I see him on the show, or E! (where he was being interviewed and flexing, a cute twink with some kickin' muscles), I start singing "Flower" by Liz Phair.
And now I can't get it out of my head.
I feel like such a pedophile lusting after him! And I'm only 22.

I would say Carrie Ann is the one who finds fault with everyone unless they are an attractive, male athlete. Len can be super critical, but he has never been so contemptuous of a dancer before. His whole "I know you are popular remark" was a bit much and the way he treats Bruno and calls him "Sunshine" leaves me with the impression that he has problems with gay men.
I just don't enjoy Brooke and Derek. She poses too much and it's too clinical. She made a lot of mistakes in her second dance. They were very generous with her scoring. In comparison to the others, she looks much better. Compared to Mel B, she would pale in comparison.
Isn't calling people "sunshine" a common British colloquialism?
To Warren tonight, Len said something like "You're a fine dancer except for your feet! Give me a break!" I thought that was kinda rough, so I don't see how he's meaner to Lance than anyone else.
Len does tend to score lowest of the 3 judges.
Mel B isn't in the competition. If you are comparing Brooke to previous season contestants, well, nobody from this year equals many of the best from previous years. It's a weak year, overall. I said that, many posts ago. However, I'm not comparing her to other season's contestants, I'm comparing her to this season's contestants, and she's the best, imo.
Brooke doesn't even compare to the other contestants. She's going to win, and that's that. So, as far as I'm concerned, this contest is all about "Slot #2."

Saying Brooke is the best dancer compared to the other dancers is not much of a compliment. I know Mel B. is not in the competition, but when you compare Brooke to previous female dancers (Stacy, Mel B. Sabrina, Laila, and even Kristi who I was lukewarm on), she's not as good a dancer. She's too model-ish and she struggled with her second dance tonight. When she has to dance and not pose, she stumbles. She also does not connect with the audience. I get no enjoyment from her the way I do with Warren and Kym even though he's less proficient.
Well, she's still going to win. My personal favorite is Warren. He seems to LOVE dancing, and yet he's this big "parade float" of a guy! I also like Cody (even though I had no idea who he was until my kids told me) simply because he's 18. I just think for someone so young -- who is untrained as a dancer -- his dancing shows a wisdom and maturity that other, older contestants seem to be clueless about.
Little gay boys like him all have a big ole' dancing flare inside that needs a little ignition.
I can't take cute boys like that seriously, GEEZ.
I'm sort of hoping Cody goes this week. I didn't really enjoy his second dance at all. Also, I just find him annoying. I know, not a good enough reason to want him gone, but he was in the bottom tonight.
And I think Warren is a very good dancer, but I think sometimes his size makes him look a little funny, if that makes any sense. Like he just doesn't look like he would be very light on his feet, but he is.
Warren and Brooke are my favorites.
I missed most of last night's results show, so I had to go online to find out that Maurice got eliminated. Although I was hoping for Cody to be elminated, this doesn't surprise me. I figured it would happen before the finals because I don't know what kind of fanbase he has, and he is not always consistantly good.
Now, I have a pretty good feeling that Brooke and Warren will make it to the finals. I'm not sure about Lance and Cody at this point. Both can be good when they want to be, but they both have flaws. I still find Cody more irritating though.
I love Cody, but I think he needs to do something amazing this week to make it to the finals. His last solo was very energetic, but lacked content. Hopefully with Julianne back she can get him on the right track.

The judges are being brutal tonight. I know it's the semifinals and all, but damn.
I loved Lance and his partner tonight. They were amazing.
