I don't even know who most of these people are. If it weren't for Aly Raisman and Dorothy Hamill, I wouldn't find much of a reason to watch this season. But, total yuck to Andy Dick. I just find him annoying and usually not funny.
I think 'yuck' just about sums this cast up.
Sounds like they're running out of people to cast for this show. I've heard of Wynonna Judd and Kellie Pickler. I'm not a country music fan at all, but their names pop up every so often. Kellie Pickler was on AI quite a few years back. Also know of Dorothy Hammill. Never heard of Aly Raisman. I usually end up watching a few episodes each season.
I don't watch the show. But Dorothy Hamill looks so fan-F*CKing-tastic that I might have to start. Jesus Christ...did she sell her soul to the devil???
She still skates several times each week at the rink in my parents town outside Baltimore. My brother-in-law is obsessed with her.
Aly Raisman was on the U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team this past summer. She won a gold medal with the team and on the floor exercise. And if I remember correctly, a bronze on beam.
Zendaya is on a Disney Channel show about girls who DANCE! That doesn't seem fair at all! I also hate when reality show "stars" are included in this show. The athletes will do well because they usually do. However, no Maks! Love him. I'd also like to see Tony do well with Wynonna. I really like her voice.
The professional dancers are now more famous than the "stars". I know 5 "stars". However, there are a couple dancer's names I don't know, as well. I don't really care if I know them. Once I start watching, I get to know them, and root for my favorites. I love the show. Live music and dancing. What could be better?

"Sounds like they're running out of people to cast for this show."
Well, that's what happens when you have a show that has aired for 16 seasons. Maybe they should consider airing the program once a year like 'American Idol'. I like Aly Raisman, Kellie Pickler, and Dorothy Hamill though.
ETA: I'm not fans of them but I am familiar with D.L. Hughley and Andy Dick was the voice of Nuka from 'The Lion King II: Simba's Pride'.

Just wanted to fix the subject line
^ Good one, Joe.
They seem to be getting more and more athletes. Those are the people who seem to do well.
My mom said that Dorothy Hamill had hip replacement surgery. Is that true?

I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me, but I would much rather watch this program than 'The Voice' on Monday nights. I cannot watch the latter program since it has one of my least favorite singers as a mentor, Usher. Beginning in late 2010 I was no longer a fan of his. He tries to act like a clean cut guy, but he just comes across as very fake. His 2010-11 concert tour was also an unpleasant experience for me.

Andy Dick just appeared on Two Broke Girls last week. I guess he's trying to resurrect his career. I'm glad I gave up on this show a long time ago because the less I see of him, the better.
No Maks or Anna?!?!
I want Ingo to dance shirtless every single week. He is so hot!!!!!! He played/plays Jax on General Hospital and he's gorgeous!

"No Maks or Anna?!?!"
Here is why Maks is not returning:
"I just want to set the record straight to all of my amazing fans that I will unfortunately not be returning for this season of Dancing with the Stars," he said in the statement. "I've been a pro dancer on the show for about seven years now and am eager to explore other opportunities that have been made possible because of Dancing with the Stars. I'm going to take this time to dive into producing and acting, while fulfilling my sponsorship obligations."
As for other professional dancers such as Anna Trebunskaya, Chelsie Hightower and Louis Van Amstel the producers said this:
"We frequently rotate the professional dancers, so it is not unusual for them to rest a cycle," the rep says. "As we consider who will be matched up each season, there are a lot of factors that dictate which couples make the best pairings. We appreciate each of our dancers' dedication to the show, so this is a very difficult decision. Anna, Chelsie, Louis and Maks continue to be a part of the Dancing with the Stars family."
Why Maksim Chmerkovskiy Won't Be on Dancing with the Stars
thanks Beauty! I might have to finally give up on the show now! it takes too much room on my dvr anyway
Mister Matt, re Andy Dick -I agree. he turns me off. Who does he appeal to I wonder?
I did watch 2 Broke Girls with Andy in it. He was not amusing at all. He's always playing the same sort of creepy characters.
I remember seeing Andy Dick on the Trading Spaces show and he was very subdued on that show. He traded with Sarah Rue- she was a huge fan of that show. Unfortunately, the designer that worked with Andy on Sarah's room was awful and the room was not what she liked but the room that Sarah did for Andy was very nice. Andy can move his body and he's not afraid of making a fool out of himself so who knows! He just doesn't have the fan base.
I remember that Andy Dick kept getting into trouble with drugs and alcohol. He's got a long list of arrests due to his being under the influence of one or both.
I'm not only judging him on the above, but his whole shtick and tv persona is distasteful to me.
I'm not a fan of Andy Dick but I would take him ANY day over Khate Gosselin and Bristol Palin!

When I begin working as a teacher's aide this fall I may not have as much time to watch reality television, so this could be my last season.
However, if Michelle Kwan could find time on her schedule to compete on this show I would watch it. She said that she would never rule out competing on a future season.
