No
Unless you have no emotional investment in the outcome, I don't see how it could be angst-free.
Dating? What's that? No one has touched my thigh since 1991. Now that's angst!

Definitely not angst-free, except lately (ahem...I mean...I've been touched much more recently than 1991, but not recently enough!). Sometimes you want a little..."angst."
Anyone on this board a theatre-, yoga-, and music-loving straight adult guy who happens to live in Chicago???
Had to ask. :)
Even though I don't have any emotional investment in the outcome (as long as I get some along the way), it's STILL not angst-free!

As "I Hate Everything About You" comes up on my iPod.
Its all Angst and I'm older. K, the girl who was seeing and then said " I really broke up with M." called me from Nashville yesterday while visiting family and still may want to see me.
L, who was supposed to call me to see a concert at the Financial Ctr last night didn't call and didn't return a call to her cell.
But I met two more women this week. One on the train "if you see something, say something" and one at the gym.

That's not dating, that's tricking.
i'm angst-y over my lack of dating.
Trick or treat!
Well, if you go to dinner first, I suppose it's trick AND treat.
In my current situation, I still find dating sorta odd...
Dating sucks! I have been out of the loop since 2004 I hated it so much. I don't think its angst-free for anyone.
Really? I love to date. I find it to be totally angst free. Of course, I've had a lot of practice. I just approach it for what it is, two people talking and getting to know one another. Even if it's bad, it's only an hour or so of your life and I always walk away having learned something.
Well, look what the lildog dragged in! Welcome back!

lildogs - where have you been?!?
Hope all is well - and, welcome back.
I have a thing for fat asses, lildog. Are you free on Saturday night?
This little dog has been all over....
After my nervous breakdown/divorce, I went to work here in the city for a real estate company, which lasted for a hot minute-and by hot minute, I mean 6 months.
I then went to the middle of the woods in Massachusetts for the summer...amongst an international cast of counselors. And for the gay boys: No I didn't.
Then it was off on a tour of Go Diego Go! as a CREW MEMBER--that was fun, loading trucks with the local crews--and I even got to load a truck with three HOT firemen in Des Moines...the ONLY three hot guys in Des Moines, but nevertheless
So Little Edie is back at the Barbizon...hoping to run into Max Gordon. Or Gale Gordon. Or Gale Storm.
Such adventures!! How about Gale Sondergaard?
Welcome back.
