Too bad he's too young to vote...

Did you hear Hilary's version of "Imagine" last night on S-Span? VERY original.

It's only original if she cried at the end.
And Paula wasn't drunk.

Tom:
Look at the link below. It has only been posted on this thread 3 times now. And it was a crying act. It doesn't take a genius to see bad acting.

For those who don't remember, Jennifer Hudson sang this song her first week on idol. She cried after it, too.

I'll bet Hillary had the cajones to do the FIRST verse.

By the way the crying was after some other contestant got booted. And it was So played for the camera. It had nothing to do with anything he sang.

Ah- so he controls the camera too?
Seriously, Mafia, you kinda need to get some help. You are projecting motives and intentions onto a TV show about total strangers. Let it go honey. Let it go.

I saw the link, theatermafia. don't be so rude.
i was saying that i didn't see the link within the article that was supposed to show me the interview where he supposedly lied.
It looks to me as though you are grasping at straws for reasons to dislike him.
Is it because he is a threat to the contestant that you prefer?

The cameras are extremely rehearsed on that show. That kid knew what he was doing. What a act. I currently have work in the production offices for "Don't Forget The Lyrics". We share the same hall , the same band, and about 3 of the camera guys. I know how this show is put together.
So no.. the kid doesn't control the cameras.. he just knows how to play to them. Don't be so easily suckered in. It is a T.V. show after all.
Oh and I believe you can find the interview somewher in the E.T website or on TMZ.

I'm not saying that everyone should like him. It's okay if you don't. I just think that all the accusations are unwarranted and silly.
This is a talented kid who entered a contest and some people pressume to know who he is and what his motives are based on random footage that couldn't fill up one minute of airtime. It's just ridiculous.

I'm just glad to see everyone getting so passionate about this important vote. The question is, will he be able to sway the super delegates?

Did he cry? Or was he just CHOKED UP? And what kind of an American Idol will he be if he can't take the pressure already? What if he cries during a song???? I dunno, I don't think I want him answering when the phone rings at 3 AM in the mansion.

But they are not unwarranted or silly. You just choose to believe that because you are suckered in.

He is very talented. Just phony. The two don't mesh well together. And what is ridiculous is that someone would watch this show on TV and take everything they are putting in front of your face to heart and not have the ability to recognize when something is being pre-packaged and spoon fed to you. It is a tv show.. and that is fine. HE IS STILL PHONY.

I agree totally with Tom1071. This is a SINGING competition. Who cares how they got where they are, who their stage mom is, how many times they've performed in public, what stupid comments they make after their performance, etc. I will care less about all of that when I'm enjoying Archuleta's CD in a few months. I am not planning on being his best friend.

It may be a singing competition, but it should be a performing competition.
He needs to be able to perform well if he wants to win. The other Davids are better performers.
David Cook can rock my body anytime he wants.

Well I happen to know David's cousin's neighbor. And she KNOWS that David IS NOT A PHONY. So there.

"I'm enjoying Archuleta's CD"
That's all you'll do. He'll be a dud in concert. All he does stand there like a pole. After two hours, that's gonna get pretty old.
(I forgot he can play the piano.)

CHILDREN PLEASE!
I don't like that little twink Archuleta. Impressive voice; but there is not much else there. His charisma is put upon and he has a troll quality about him. YUCK!
I would still do him a favor and slap his little mormon tush around.

I don't disagree about his lack of charisma. I was just speaking about his singing voice. Maybe the charisma will improve with age....
I totally agree about David Cook. He has been consistent each of the 3 weeks. He hasn't given a bad performance and last night he totally nailed it. He is now #1 with me. I wonder if that was a totally original arrangement of the Lionel Ritchie song?
