I hate when girls wear their PJ's to school, but do their hair and makeup. Get dressed! It takes more effort to do hair and makeup than to put on jeans and a shirt. There isn't any point in doing one without the other. Plus, it just looks tacky.

I travel for business and try to fly in the morning 6 am. You would not believe how many people show up to the airport in theie PJs. Seems to be more common when I am in LA but this past summer, I saw more that a few adults flying from Chicago to NYC in jammies.
older Hawaiian women wear muumuus, fat older Hawaiian women (no insult intended)and Aunties wear them
I think the pjs have taken the place of basic sweat pants and sweatshirts. It's todays lounge wear. LOVE the reference to muumuus. Muumuus and caftans were great comfort clothes in the 70's. Guys wore caftans too. hee hee...some looked hot, others NOT!
Some of my pajamas I bought from n2nbodywear.com so... no. I don't wear them outside.

When I was a little girl my grandma wore "housedresses." Anyone remember them? Not as bad as a muumuu but still hideous.
Oh yes! they are a little worse than muumuus. They usually have buttons down the front, right? My mother still wears them, but she's very fashionable and fabulous looking so somehow her housedresses are not what you'd expect.
