No, I watched it again because I laughed my ass off.
Who was the "main" hot German?
It's not listed on his page, but I swear on my Dibs that it's him
Chris Diamantopolous
YES!!!! Hunky Brian the camera man!!!!!! I KNEW that was him!
He's married to my favorite Amanda from Ugly Betty

Oh, when you said "nice" German I thought you were talking about the one who was nice to Abed.
I was. You guys can have Main German

About three drinks from now, who knows
It was all worth it for the bit of "Daybreak" at the end.

In case this kind of trivia interests you, last night's episode was actually the second of the season, but they were shown out of order.
Last season had a weird order, too, when Shirley's wedding happened a week before an episode that opened with the gang coming back from winter break.
And can we talk about how many more people watched a rerun of Big Bang Theory than a brand new Community?

Yeah, they switched those around when they came back from hiatus, ostensibly to have a "more accessible" episode be the first one aired when they returned. And "Remedial Chaos Theory" and the "Competitive Ecology" were reversed as well, which is what the exchange at the beginning (about whether it's apartment 303 or 304) is about.
I think a blank screen with a laugh track would get more viewers than a new Community.

I never saw Shawshank so I had to take the episode on its own merits.
I was hoping it was gonna be more Shirley-centric, since it was at her house, but it still felt like she's been relegated to supporting player, like she has this entire season.
Of course I'd prefer what Dan Harmon would have wanted to do with Jeff and his father, but I thought the show handled it pretty deftly. I thought that kid from Workaholics was funny.
I thought it was a strong episode, and even the group was separated most of the show, I feel like this season is about how the characters relate to each other outside of school, which seems appropriate with all the upheaval its seen.

Wynbish, I don't know if it's her make-up or if they're giving her weird lighting, but Britta has just looked .... not bad, not even strange, really, just ... off? Like she's on a different show.
That, and the whole "Let me be your therapist!" aspect seems a lot more heavy-handed and has skipped over being comedic in favor of being abrasive
I don't think it's more heavy handed at all. I'm actually loving Brittany lately.
It was good to see Adam Devine. I've been gradually becoming a fan through Pitch Perfect and Workaholics

This episode also made me wish I could have some Thanksgiving food.
They should have done something like my family and had Pierce go to a crowded restaurant (Cracker Barrel for us) and wait an hour and a half to be seated.
Loved seeing Adam DeVine tonight! I think he's hilarious.
Britta looks different to me, too. I think it's her make up?

It's how I remember her looking in that episode where she and Abed were in the scary story about the cabin. Sort of uncanny, like she's been airbrushed.
