Does Anyone Ever Just Need To Be Told They're Cute?

Ugh, sometimes I just feel like I need to be told I'm cute. I know it's weird but do you ever just feel down in the dumps like nobody notices you. You walk in the mall with someone more attractive than you and you don't get the looks? It's upsetting.

Thanks guys. I know this thread was just created to try to boost my self esteem but sometimes you need it you know? I love this board so much and you guys are like my family. This board represents an eclectic group of people who sometimes don't always sound the greatest but in the end create the most beautiful, uplifting, supportive, respectful bond of family harmony that you can possibly experience. I love all of you guys and I just want to let you know that if there is ever a moment in your lives where you feel like you need guidance or just someone to scream to I'll be here for you just as I know you'll be here for me. Not here to judge but only to trust and confide in, I appreciate so deeply that you guys do the same for me.

See I am told too often I am "cute". I dont have any desire to be "cute" anymore though...I am at a point where I wanna be "attractive" or even "hot"....but all I get is "cute"...meh. What are ya gonna do?

Link, I often feel like that too. Very often people just tell me I am cute, or I am adorable, but whenever I am with my hot, pretty friends they are the ones that get all the looks, and I am stuck being the cute one and who everyone thinks is their 12 year old younger sister. Sometimes it's a pain in the neck. But, I say, if you are freaking adorable, which you are, then roll with it, b/c it's better than being nothing at all.

Sum (who is also very cute) really is a combination between Freddie and Adam...nice one Tiff (who has a good personality...)

I know what you mean... I like ot be told I'm cute and same thing as Flowery, if i say i'd like a hug it usually means I need one (although sometimes i say it just because i want one lol)... I think you're very cute :) You remind me of a friend I met in high school. :)

See I got called cute all the time...but in a teddy bear like way, but I can deal with it. In fact my suitemate who's one of my best friends, when she wast elling people about her suitemates, the one word she used to describe me was cute. It helps me a lot, lotsa times when I'm at stagedoors everyone will smile at me or say hi I think because I look so cute(being short in this matter doesn't hurt.) I'd love to be told I'm pretty...but as a great line in Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants says...Some people like to show off their beauty for the whole world to see. Others like to hide it, so that people will see something else.

Cute? Hm... I do like compliments and accept them when they come. But cute... nope. Don't see myself as cute at all.
