wow. they ARE good. dreamgirls is a total lock then. as long as they don't find out that beyonce had her wisdom teeth pulled and that's how she lost all the weight. oops, did i say that?
Beyonce just did that so she could auction them off on eBay.
She expects a quarter of a mil, and I think she'll get it.
i hear each tooth is going for $25. it's a lot to pay for a tooth, but you have to remember that you're not just getting the tooth, but you also get the roots, blood, and the cotton that was in her mouth when her teeth were pulled. it's a total experience!
How vivid.
in other news, oprah is repeating her dreamgirls show today for the third time in less than a month! criminy!
I didn't say that Dreamgirls will def win or even that oscarwatch's moving it to the top spot again in December would mean it will def win. I was just stating where the buzz swung again. I do think oscarwatch has a great track record.
But if this is really something to get worked up about, knock your lights out.
i was just wondering how accurate oscarwatch was, geez. don't get a big head over it!

I've seen The Departed and United 93. I'm definitely rooting for those two to get nominated. Dreamgirls, I have not seen yet, but I have a good feeling about that one. Dad wants to see The Pursuit of Happyness. Mom wants to see The Queen. We'll probably rent that one when it comes out on DVD.
Time will tell.
I have no desire, what-so-ever, to see "The Pursuit of Happyness." It looks severely sappy for my taste.
Seeing "Dreamgirls" on Tuesday . . . CAN'T WAIT!

Saw it last night - and just loved it. I think it has a good shot at a best pic nom, plus Murphy and Hudson and cinematography. It is a beautiful film that has all the integrity of the original stage production. A couple of script changes surprised me - but that's show biz. It was also nice to see that they filmed inside Studio 54 and The Imperial theater where the original stage production ran. The dedication to Bennett at the end got a rousing cheer and applause, and it made me tear up. All in all - a great movie experience. And - I got to meet a BWW member who was in the row behind me! A very nice and unexpected part of the evening. Definately worth the wait.
For what Beyonce just did to Silent Night at the WDW Christmas Parade, she should never be allowed out in public again.
yikes!!
