Unlike RobbO, she was a beloved poster both here and at Broadway.com. And then something happened. The details of which I am not privvy to. But something happened and it isn't talked about. Dofb= Date of Birth. A decent lady who was treated anything but decent at this circus. Not worth discussing, here..nor is it my place. She's better off for leaving.

Not for nothing, Pati, but you're wrong. DofB may in fact stand for Date of Birth in most instances, but as I have pointed out, her ACTUAL screen name was DofB5. This was, of course, a Babylon 5 reference, which, when I mentioned it in D's thread surprised her because I got the reference.

D is her first initial.

Namo, Whether she's DOFB..1,2,5 I'm quite sure we are talking about one and the same. If I'm not mistaken, she said it stood for date of birth. I will ask again.

Wow, misinformation.

The poster DofB5 just posted a few days ago. And she had stated in the past that her name had nothing to do with a date of birth but rather a favorite television show.

"... treated anything but decent on these circus grounds." Interesting subjective statement.

I wonder why she is telling different stories about the origin of her name to different people. Is she trying to throw people off the trail? Is dofb sort of an anagram for RobbO?

We are talking about the same person, Pati. I just happen to remember what people's screen names are and the derivation of them. She was pulling your leg when she told you it was DateOfBirth5... indicating that she was 2000 years old. Many scifi fans avoid talking about their love of the form for fear of being branded nerds, or geeks or dungeon and dragons playing freakazoids or inbred defectives or whathaveyou.

I miss the pretty picture of DofB5 in that stunning blue dress singing into that mic. I wish I had saved it.

I also miss that picture. I liked the way she would customize the microphone to match the season. It became a chocolate bunny at Easter, a green beer during St. Patricks Day, a candy cane during Christmas.

That was really cool. She definitely had the skills to make her icon picture look different from what was really in the picture.

I remember somebody making fun of the unaltered one, but I loved it. It was so full of life and filled with the joy of singing.

And no Pati, I am not being sarcastic.

I was supposed to have rehearsal tonight, and just recently found out I'm not called, so I'm thrilled! But yes, I heard that before about the third episode...but a lot of shows are that way. I'm still excited about tonight.
