Mario was definitely the better dancer of the two, but I'm not surprised that Emmitt won. All those phone lines that I used at work to vote for Mario didn't help out one bit.

You've got that right. Emmitt literally did not move his upper body. No arm extensions, etc. Mario was perfect, even down to pointing his toes.

Emmitt's partner won last year too.
I was glad he won. I thought he did a great job, had more interesting chorog during the finale, and seems like a sweet man.
And he's my age, and Mario is a kid...he did do a good job, tho.

I had a feeling that Emmitt would win cause he is popular and a former athlete who worked hard to learn how to dance, blah, blah, blah...
