She was really upset that the producers manipulated their fight and made a split screen. Great tv watching, but I think Rosie's feelings were already hurt by Elizabeth. The manipulation for ratings was the last straw for her. And that is why she chose to depart.

I'm hoping that the Elisabeth announcement today was just to hold people off and that she really is leaving. They are good about making their hosts be quiet and Star Jones wouldn't do that! There was just some wierd body language going on on the right side of the couch (the viewer's right side that is).

I'm watching the show right now and there's something off. Elisabeth is more quiet than usual. She's the one who comments on the reality shows, and today they were covering the big finale of the Bachelor, which she reports on all the time. She didn't say a word. Whoopi covered it. When Elisabeth finally spoke on another topic, Sherri sat there giving her a nasty look which the camera closely covered. And Sherri was the one who helped Granny up the one step.

ok, there is DEFINITELY something up. Now, Whoopi does NOT watch those reality shows and makes a point of it. Elisabeth lives for them. The producers had to have told Whoopi to watch the finale last night of the Bachelor because she would have to report on it. so they knew Elisabeth wasn't going to do it. And she sat there with a slight smirk during Whoopi's report. But not one word. I wonder if she refused to do it, or the producers took that away from her?
