Miss Baby would appreciate if you would all keep it down so she could piss on her pad with a little dignity.

I couldn't find a picture of Ann Coulter with her dog, so this picture of just Ann will have to do - but she's unhappy as well!

Did the rescue group really dog-nap a dog from a house they didn't like the looks of?!
That's wrong.

We are filing a legal case against you. We are going to be contacting the media. This is not going to be good for your store or your organization. You did not do the right thing. You need to call back. There is no reason for you to take this dog. Please call back before this gets further out of hand.
And by further out of hand, Bush meant that America’s most beloved lesbian would be in tears over a dog.
Keith Fink, a lawyer for Mutts & Moms, told Page Six he thinks that Ellen is using her power to manipulate the situation.
“Ellen’s lying,” said Fink. “She is using her power and her access to the media to destroy this agency in the media. This is a woman who has signed many seven-figure contracts. She knows what she signed.”

It just makes them look bad, and you know people are going to get mean about it.
*edit* and thanks for the link, but you need to post it all..
"Ok, Mutts & Moms. It’s really sweet how you got this in the Post. Congratulations. But let’s be real. Ellen has a daily, nationally syndicated TV show. Just give the puppy back so we don’t have to see Ellen cry anymore."

Agency to Keep Ellen DeGeneres' Dog
By BETH HARRIS, Associated Press Writer
Wednesday, October 17, 2007
Ellen DeGeneres' doggy drama intensified Tuesday after her tearful plea on her talk show led to death threats against the rescue group that took back her adopted dog for violating the contract, according to a spokesman for the agency's owners.
DeGeneres explained on her show that the Brussels Griffon terrier mix didn't get along with her cats, so she gave it to her hairstylist's family. The owners of Mutts and Moms claimed that DeGeneres violated the adoption agreement by not informing them that she was giving the dog away and removed Iggy from the hairstylist's home Sunday.
As a result of the publicity, Marina Batkis and Vanessa Chekroun received voice mail and e-mail threats of death and arson and were besieged by the media, disrupting business at Paws Boutique store in Pasadena, where they handle the volunteer, nonprofit rescue agency, attorney Keith A. Fink said.
Batkis rejected DeGeneres' plea to give the dog back to her hairstylist's family.
"She (Batkis) doesn't think this is the type of family that should have the dog," said Fink, who is not legally representing the owners but is authorized to speak for them. "She is adamant that she is not going to be bullied around by the Ellen DeGenereses of the world ... They are using their power, position and wealth to try to get what it is they want."
DeGeneres' attorney, Kevin Yorn, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
"It's very upsetting to hear that someone is getting those kind of calls," DeGeneres' publicist Kelly Bush said. "Ellen just wants the dog reunited with the family."
On her talk show taped Tuesday and airing Wednesday, a serious DeGeneres reiterated to her audience that "the dog needs to go to the family."
It "just needs to be in a good home," she continued, according to a transcript given to The Associated Press. "All that you're supposed to do is put a dog in a loving home."
DeGeneres had said her hairdresser's daughters, ages 11 and 12, had bonded with Iggy and were heartbroken when the dog was taken away.
Fink said Moms and Mutts has a rule that families with children under 14 are not allowed to adopt small dogs.
"It's for the protection of the dog," he said.

I've decided I'm going to find Rhonda and take her for myself simply because that's what I want. What's the problem? She'll have a good home.

Maybe because once a child did not do well with a dog, does this mean they even considered this family? Were they immediately disqualified because the kids don't fit the random age range they have set up? We all know there are 12-year olds that are more responsible and care better for dogs than 20-year olds. I had a small dog given to me for my 10th birthday, and I took very good care of that dog.

I want Rhonda, but I don't have a tv show and I don't feel comfortable threatening people. How can I get the rules bent for me?

It's like that pesky rule in some states that does not allow gays to adopt.

WWPD?!?!

it is a private non-profit rescue organization. and they, btw, mostly rescue animals hours away from "the needle" by city shelters. But even they are selective. they get the fees waived if they are a legal non-profit org, at least in L.A.
Sounds like a shelter to me.
And, I defy anyone to watch that video more than once, and not laugh!

Are they simply to young to take care of it, according to the group?
Where does one come up with the age of 14 as being old enough to care for a dog?
What is the difference in the dogs size?
Would they have let them keep the dog if it was bigger?
This is just odd.
