It has nothing to do with your like or dislike of children. Give the tone of some of your post it has everything to do with your divisive, some might say borderline hateful, word choice.
I agree with taking a breath.

you mean "breeders?" I use that term for all persuasions that decide to contribute to the continued overpopulation of the planet, gay, straight, bi, whatever.

Channel 4 (NBC) here in LA just ran this story on the news. Apparently, there is another lady who had a similar thing happen, only she didn't give away the dog. Apparently, she adopted a dog from Mutts and Mom's and a few days later, the owner of the company Mary Baccus (sp?) drove by the woman's house, didn't like what she saw, and simply dognapped the dog without telling the owner. The crazy bitch held the dog for 6 days until it was resolved, but the owner of the dog said they handled it completely wrong. She reported the dog stolen before she found out what happened.
so..as I said before..batsh*t crazy.

cooperross, since you have such expertise, both in animals & legal issues, i think you should start your own rescue.
you seem to think youve got it all figured out & that you could do it better than anyone else.
maybe you can call it RULES-FREE RESCUE

Ooooh, I can see the slogan now!
RULES-FREE RESCUE
If reading big words makes you confused and hazy,
we're the rescue for you because we're not batsh*t crazy!

Omigod, could Rhonda be the spokesdoggie?
"Hi, this is Rhonda for Rules-Free Rescue..."
I love it!
And I love Rhonda.

The musical overlay could be...
"Help Me, Rhonda" by the Beach Boys and then Rhonda could say...
For years, you've asked for my help. Now I'm asking for yours...
::Sudden change to Adagio for Strings::
Are you leery of Rescues that use big words and scary contracts that are extremely clear when you sign them, but unfair and cruel when they are enforced? If so - then RULES-FREE RESCUE is for you!

"Phyliis" you are making me laugh out loud this morning!
The first thing on my mind about all this is how Ellen was able to come out on cue and start crying at the right time. I didn't see it, but did she cry at the opening monologue, or later on?

Thanks, Jane!
I believe she was sincere, I just don't think anyone should have let that go to air.
Stanley's not quite sure what to think.

It's just that kind of gravitas Ellen needed to bring to The Love Letter.
If only she could get her pal Jodie Foster on the case.
