With a tip of the hat to the DL, here's another reaction to the movie.

Far more interesting are the talkbacks below the article, specifically from Christian gays.

what a load of crap.......one cannot deny, in my opinion, ones sexuality....when can force it down so far that they don't acknowledge it (only fooling themselves as God knows he is gay).....but in the end the author is still gay......it's the old addage

if it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, and looks like a duck......then it's a damn duck.

So this moron will live his entire life denying who he is.....perhaps even get married trying to prove it, and both he and his potential wife miserable (the Lord LOVES missery) for their lives.

Oh by the way.......I renewed my sexuality last night.
I'M A BORN-AGAIN QUEER!

"As I walked out of the movie, a young man commented to me and two women standing nearby that he thought the film was going to be more about tolerance. Without thinking about it, I blurted, “No, it wasn’t about tolerance. It was about life.” Then I turned to the two women and said, “I have lived what we just saw on the screen. But, I have been saved by Jesus Christ and, even though he has more work to do, he has changed my life.” I’m not sure if they were Christians, but both replied, “Thank God!”"

if you seriously feel that way, why are you going to see this movie in the first place?
you can't be someone you're not just beacause your religion says you have to.

I vaguely remember some organization downtown in NY which helped turn gay men straight, lol. Something "visualization", am I right?

One of my former partners went through the Homosexuals Anonymous program. Of course, we were together AFTER that.

I don’t want to end up like Ennis. Neither does God!
Is he insinuating that God is gay?

I hope that Leadership and Christianity Today will turn around what Satan means for evil through Brokeback Mountain and use it as a backdrop to write about sexual addiction in the church.
How is it a sexual addiction? Wouldn't a sexual addiction actually be like, popping out 16 kids in 17 years like some extremists are known to do?

I have a friend who is a sex addict. He has to go to a 12 step program for it.
