TRUE, cturtle, just like the "film version" of ON YOUR TOES incorporated the lilting Rodgers & Hart tunes into the background music of THAT movie.

The film version of the musical FANNY adapted Harold Rome's musical score for it's soundtrack.
The film "Fanny" is based on the play with a book by S. N. Berman and Joshua Logan. All of which was based on the Marseilles Trilogy by Marcel Pagnol. This triloogy is comprised of 3 films: Marius, Fanny, Cesar.
