FYI - I am not a Trump lover, but if thinking that makes you feel better and let's you sleep better at night then go ahead.

I did not vote for Donald Trump. 

This is why some people stopped taking you seriously around here Joey. First you start arrogant, smug, know-it-all threads and then you attack anyone who doesn't agree with you or your unrequited love for Hillary Clinton.

Just because I didn't agree with everything she did or said does not mean I hate her and it does not mean I am a Trump lover.

Petra, that's what I'm beginning to realize. I just think it's delicious that my opinions trigger him so much.

And South Florida, with all due respect, I don't think there's anything complicated about a tyrant who flagrantly disregarded human rights and singlehandedly destroyed Cuba's economy. He was a villain and the world is better off without him.

Many who find themselves praising him as El Comandante are simply condoning one of the worst periods of human right violations in recent History after the Holocaust. Stop and think about the millions of lives and families separated and decimated by the pure arrogance of one man whom at the end all he could boast about was how no one took him out. No legacy. No contribution to the development of humankind. His death marks the beginning of healing for millions.

I know which gif you two are mentioning, and you're unequivocally wrong if you legitimately believe I used it with racist intentions. I was actually shocked to see that it had been removed without my consent. You're more than entitled to believe what you want—in this instance, you'd just be flat-out incorrect. I don't want to threadjack, since I do think that potential ongoing conversation about Castro's death is pertinent dialogue, but if you're actually planning on taking eternal issue with me over that post, I would love nothing more than to chat with you about it privately. Please feel free to PM me.

I take issue with you over all your posts.  And I'm entitled to believe what I want.

It's so cute that you are shocked, shocked to find out the post had been removed without your consent and that anyone could think your intentions were anything less than honorable.  

And really - no one believes that PalJoey is overtly (overtly?) calling for violent means against those with whom he disagrees.  Maybe get off that high horse you are on.

Mar6411, I've literally never engaged with you before this post, so I'm intrigued why if each and every word that I write somehow poses a deep offense to you that you haven't blocked me. Hm. And if you'd like to keep up, PalJoey did indeed—in actual words—ask that if we encounter somebody who "believes a Democratic candidate is 'flawed'," that we "punch him in the face." Not sure what you're smoking that inclines you to believe that he isn't calling for violent means there, but do let us all know.

Anyway, back to the thread at hand. Has anybody read Justin Trudeaux's almost buddy-buddy statement about Castro's death? I couldn't believe my own eyes when I read it.

Why PM?  You posted it publicly.  Your "do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do" response in taking eternal issue over willfully misinterpreting the intent of someone's post is laughably hypocritical.  That is, if you want us to believe anything you say.
