I was about 7, and it was this play about this rabbit called Bunny Sue. It was bizarre, but I got the lead and was so excited haha. My first role in legitimate theatre was Girl 1/Ensemble in Anything Goes. I was in every theatre production in my high school since that!

My first was The Wiz at Las Vegas Academy. I was a emerald city citizen, winged monkey, and a winkie. Honestly though, I think our production it is better the encores version of the Wiz with asanti!

When I was in the 7th grade, I was in the ensemble of "Oliver", which meant I got to be an Orphan, one of Fagin's Boys, an Oom-Pah-Pah girl, and a scowling Londoner.

My first lead role was the following year, when we did "Once On This Island". I played Erzulie, Beautiful Goddess of Love. It was the first time I had a solo song, so I was excited. =)

The Wiz in first grade. My friend and I were munchkins and wore solid colored sweatpants and sweatshirts. I think mine were purple...That was the last year my elementary school did musicals and plays while I was there.

My first show was The Diviners, I played Buddy, and I was 15.

Scared the hell out of me. That was the first time I had ever been onstage. But, I fell in love.

Okay, I know I have made, like, the seven most recent posts in the "Stuedent" section, but at least I am keeping this part of the boards alive, like everybody wants it to be.

So, anyway, my first role was Creeper (a lost boy) in Peter Pan when I was seven. I was so excited about my twelve lines. Oh, and my identical twin brother was one of the forrest people and had two one-word lines, ha ha.

In 4th grade I did a play (don't remember the name) about fairy tales and I played Hansel and Gretel's mom. My first musical was Honk! Jr. where I played a goose in 6th grade. My first lead was last year (8th grade) when I played Gertrude in Seussical Jr.

kchenofan's computer is broken right now. This is her fridge. Now, you can leave a message, but say it slowly, so I can write it on a post-it note and stick it to myself.

I only do pit stuff, no stage stuff...

I was recruited as rehearsal pianist for "Of Thee I Sing" in college. The rest is history!

"Anansi the Spider", I was 7, and I was cast as a rhino with a bunch of other kids, but I waited after school for the teacher to beg her to make me the understudy of Anansi. I was so determined to get the part!

In my more "professional" endeavors I've been dance feature a ton of times and I was Florinda in Into the Woods this past spring. But my first lead was Columbia in Rocky Horror this summer, I'm 14.

An original musical (Christian) adaptation of The Little Princess. I played a school girl at Miss Minchin's. I believe my name was either Eliza or Liza. Meh...I have to find the playbill to remember. All in all, it went well. Expect for a guy nearly losing his pants during one scene, and two awkward minutes of silence when a girl forgot her line.

In 4th Grade I was cast as Scrooge in a school musical that one of the teachers wrote and that's how I got into MT! But, since that's not an official Musical... My next one was "Annie" and I played the part of Daddy Warbucks.

It was very fun! At first I didn't want the role because I would have to be emotional and act like I liked a girl (Eew... haha don't you love elementary?) I wanted a funny role like "Shades" the bum who was "blind." But my director convinced me to take the role. It was fun... except I do not look good with a shaved head...
