That bad, dtl? What was it a recording of?
It really wasn't as bad as I make it sound, but it was that LOUD. My band class has a volume issue. Plus, all of the bad sounding parts really stuck out on the recording. We recorded 3 songs (The Invincible Eagle; Chester; and Jupiter), but only listened to the first two.
What was it of, rehearsal, or a concert? We used to have all of our performances recorded, and then we'd listen to them to figure out what to do better, etc. I guess it helped.
Elphie, why are you sad?
I'm just a little sad, but I'm okay.
When do you hear about the other internship?
It was just recorded during class, to see what we could do to improve. It actually worked, too.
*sends Elphie a hug*
*hugs* Me too.
I'm not sure; I'm gonna try to find out.
Thanks.
I don't want to do my homework.
I'm trying to get in touch with someone, and she's not online, nor is she answering her phone.
We got our AP Stat progress reports today, and I currently have a 101.57, so that's happy. Of course, it doesn't include a test that will surely bring my grade down. But, it was a nice little surprise.
My mother is driving me insane. She keeps telling me that I need a job, I need a job, I need a job; I'm not stressed out enough without her? I keep telling her I don't want to talk about this right now, but she won't listen to me.

A one-hour flight in coach is over $400? Are you f**king kidding me?
That's great, Mel! What happened?
I just bought tickets for this thing at Hofstra University-- according to the e-mail sent from broadway cares there's a bunch of performances from the original cast members of bway shows. I'm so excited.
Awesome! Do you know which ones?
Mel- What thing at Hofstra? Sounds good already.
This is what it says: performances from original cast members of popular Broadway shows like Jersey Boys, Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, The Color Purple, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Light in the Piazza, Avenue Q, Rent, Sweeney Todd, and many more!
I'm not sure if it's true that it's original cast members even though it says that. I'd just be happy with the understudies.
I'm looking for it on the BC/EFA site and not seeing it...
When is it?

WTF?!?!
Ok- ready for this rant?
I had an interview today for a job- 11$ an hour- not bad, right?
So I print out directions on mapquest. It says 20 miles. That's a lot of gas and far to drive. Fine, so I decide to give it a chance. I drive there, it takes 45 minutes! I just think "If I don't get the job, it's an interview experience."
So, it's this really shady weird place in ft. Lauderdale. The office is on the second floor- no elevators- (I didn't need one but isn't it illegal for office buildings not to have evevators?)
Anyway- it's 2 guys sitting at a computer and the 'boss' meets me out in the hallway. It's like the main company that buys produce for S. Florida...or wherever.
So he takes me into his 'private' room and I give him my resume and whatnot...
He asks how often I can work. I tell him I can work everyday during the summer (even though I would have driving 20 miles back and forth each day- I didn't say that part though.) He asked about the fall. Well, going into it I thought it was going to a temp job (as he said on the phone,) but no- he tells me he needs me longer than just the summer. So I didn't want to be like "NO!"- so I said I could probably work around my school schedule and work 2 or 3X a week. He hesitated and then told me he needs someone there EVERYDAY for about 2-3 hours. Ok- I'm sorry, there is no way in H*LL that I am driving 20 miles EACH WAY to work 2-3 hours EVERYDAY!
***Ok- I'm pissed off right now but I really wasn't like this in the interview...***
So, I was there for less than 15 minutes and then I had to go back home...20 miles away- rush hour.
Not only was it rush hour but it starting storming like you wouldn't believe- remember, it's S. Florida. Ok- so, I'm driving home in rush hour in the pouring rain in which I can't see a da*n thing...
Thundering and lighting...not cool.
There were 2 car accidents and a little dog that was running across the road and getting scared and getting in the middle of traffic. Ok- so that doesn't really have anything to do with that.
So, I'm really pissed. Yes, I decided to drive the 20 miles but I didn't expect to be in the middle of nowhere land and only to be there 15 minutes. I didn't think I was going to get to job b/c it seemed like he wanted a more experienced person, but- it seemed that when I walked in, he automatically knew he wasn't going to hire me.
Uhh...
I missed over 10 pages of the new banal thread?
I woke up at 5:45 this morning on the couch in the living room and I've felt completely off all day because of it. I sat in the same chair for 6 hours straight and watched a couple epic movies. My parents are coming home soon and they're going to yell at me for not doing anything all day, but I just wasn't in the mood.
