re: Banal details of life! Part 3

I want to watch Titanic again. This is like...the third time in a month. Before a few weeks ago, I hadn't watched it in almost a year.

My arm is itchy. Now it's red.

I just found this girl on my buddy list who I used to be bestfriends with when I was 7.

I just ran out of my shower because there was a huge moth in it. :-/

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

I just helped a friend move some stuff to her summer apartment, and ended up on a long walk. It's a bit chilly, but it's so beautiful out.

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

So, I just got a facebook message from this guy/friend who sometimes comes to my synagogue, asking me if he was flirting too much this past weekend with a freshman, who also happens to be my friend. I found that only slightly awkward.

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

I'm sad because my Broadway 2004 show season snowglobe from BC/EFA fell off my table and shattered into little pieces. The dead sparkles are all over my carpet =(

The (semi)pathetic part is that I actually cried.
It was my first piece of Broadway memoribilia =(

LilDiva, that's a shame about the snowglobe.

I just watched Zelig, on the recommendations of people on this board, and really liked it.

Mine is too! I hope it doesn't get worse. When I get an allergic reaction, it sometimes gets REAL bad.

I've been so tired and...overtired and I can't sleep. Help!?! lol

3 hours of non-consecutive sleep each night isn't good.

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

I have to replace my hard drive. I'm more upset about it than I should be. I know rationally that it's just a machine and a bunch of files shouldn't be that serious, but my entire life for the past 3 years is on that laptop. I have all the important stuff backed up, but the fact that it's not going to be on there already organized and waiting...it's weird and oddly sad.

The fact that it really is Dell's fault that this happened pisses me off even more. Last week, I contacted them and the same diagnostic test result came up and the guy was like "That's not a problem." This time- after my computer crashes- the same test result came up and the person says "That's a known hard drive error. You have to get it replaced." They better not dare charge me for the replacement drive or I'm going to march over to New Delhi and tell them off in person.

I woke up-- got dressed, ready and everything..and then realized I didn't have to wake up for another hour.

Once, a few years ago, I woke up at 1 am, thinking it was 7 am. I started taking my shower and everything, until my mom knocked on the bathroom door asking if I was alright. I was so disoriented!

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

Ok- I'm confused.

Yesterday I went on telecharge.com and looked up 1 ticket for Avenue Q and it gave me row 15. Then I looked up 2 tickets for the same date and time and it gave me row 8.
Then I checked again today (at 8:30 and just now) and it has the same things- 1 seat in row 15 and 2 seats in row 8.

How could there not be 1 seat available in row 8 if there are 2 seats available?

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

I'm still in an awful mood. I want to sleep all day. I was woken up twice before I cared to get up, once by a phone and once by a knock on my door.

My mother doesn't stop asking me questions on AIM; I can't concentrate on anything else I need to take care of, and I don't want to speak with her.

My dad called this morning with a half-assed congratulations on the job, then wanted to start planning financially for what to do if I got another on top of it, since they're only very minimally paid. I'm so angry at my parents for assuming that I'm going to get both. I have no idea why they suddenly think I would get two, when I've had this much trouble so far. I keep telling them we'll deal with what to do when it happens, not before, because honestly, it's just not going to. I hung up on my dad because I wanted to go back to sleep, and when I asked my mom why she was telling him to talk to me about this, she got mad because she was "just trying to help." I hung up on her, too. So now she's on AIM asking me constant questions about my pathetic social life and why I don't go to activities x, y, and z on campus.

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

Elphie, I did the same thing years ago when I was still in high school. I had taken a nap after I had gotten home from school. I woke up at about 6:30 p.m. -- and I thought it was 6:30 a.m., and started to get dressed (after wondering why I fell asleep on top of the covers and fully clothed). It took me about 10 minutes to snap out of it.

re: Banal details of life! Part 3

Sorry Em.

I'm beginning to feel a bit better. I'm excited for my audition today, and if neither internship works out, I think I found a great way to volunteer over the summer.

And I realized I'm happily incredibly busy for the rest of the week. Interview/audition/show today, Pajama Game tomorrow(we've had these tickets for months; I totally forgot about it) and probably hanging with some friends I haven't seen in a while, either all day in the city Thurs or part of the day in the city, and then leave for DC at night, or work Friday and leave for DC. I'm so excited, I'm staying with and seeing some of my best friends who I haven't seen in over a year! It'll be so great to see them...I think it's something I need. And I can't wait to visit the World War 2 memorial at night--it was my favorite spot in all of DC.

And then by next week, I should have an idea of what my summer plans will be. I can go to a meeting for volunteering Monday and such. Things are finally starting to go a bit better.

I always take naps, and I always think it's morning when I wake up from them.
