I was quite impressed by the WWII memorial when I saw it last year.
I also looked up my dad's name in the computer...and got a really crappy picture of his info on my cell phone.
When it's one of the warm seasons where the fountain's open and it's nighttime...it's one of the most beautiful sights to see.
I cannot believe I'm still in bed.
My birthday is one month from today.

I may cry. I'm gonna be at class until 9:30 and I'll miss American Idol.
I don't normally watch it but...ya know, I like to watch the end.
I know it will be on all the news channels so I'll have to conent with that.
So, my mom just told me that my dad may have had cancer, but they found out he didn't. I am, of course, relieved, but I kind of wish they'd told me before, not after, the fact.
*sleeps*
Yikes Elphie. I can understand why they did that, as not to upset you unnecessarily, but I can also understand why you're upset anyway. I'm glad he's okay, in any event.
I just went to meet this family I might babysit for; the kids were surprisingy not bad at all. They live in a great area, and they like to swim and be outside. The older one is really intelligent and imaginative, and he loves animals and reading. The younger one is just really sweet. They'll be a handful, but I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't be any fun at all. And they'll keep me busy enough to keep my mind out of emotional hell.
It's not far, so I walked home, and it was amazing what getting out and being outside can do for my mood; I've been so down and lethargic lately, but all I really needed to do was get out for a bit, and it lifts; only temporarily for right now, but that's a step in the right direction.
I'm happy to hear that he's okay Elphie. I'm going through that with my mom. She doesn't have lung cancer, which is great, but we don't know if she has breast cancer yet. *crosses fingers*
I hope she's okay, Bohemian.
Thanks. :)

Elphie-- My parents did that to me when my dad had cancer a few years ago. By the time my brother and I found out, they had already chosen a date for his surgery and everything. They didn't want us to worry, but I was still angry about not being informed at all.
I'm glad your dad is okay.
Bohemian-- I hope your mother is alright, too.
Banal: It's beautiful outside, but I have to stay in and do work. Yuck.
I just bought a dress for my cousin's wedding, it's bright red and gorgeous.
Elphie I went through the same thing in October when my mom had a breast cancer scare. I was having a lot of problems at school and my mom didn't want to tell me.
I hope everything is okay Bohemian.
Thanks, guys. I know it was for my own good, but it's still sort of unsettling.
I love red dresses!
I'm glad your mom is okay, Bohemian.
Yay, Em. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better.
I hope she's okay, Bohemian.
I need summer; I'm so stressed out.
It's bizarre, Elphie. Sometimes I'm alright, and sometimes I'm still a wreck. It's just weird how fast and unpredictably my outlook can change on the whole situation.

I hope everything is okay Bohemian, I'm glad things turned ok ok Elphie.
Wahhhoooohaaa!!! My theatre appreciation teacher let us out early!! I can watch stupid Idol!!
We usually have class from 6:15-9:50 but it's 3:35- give 3 cheers to my teacher!! WOOHOO WOOHOO WOOHOO!!
I am way too hyper and I don't even like American Idol. Someone in the class asked her who she wants to win and she went on this 15 minute tangent about AI. Our class was in hysterics. She was more making fun of Randy, Paula and Simon but, it made my day! I was cracking up!
She "HATES" watching it but of what she knows and has seen, Taylor should win.
She thinks that they get the votes more from "Oh! He's adorable, he should win!" Or.. "Oh my gosh, look at the cutie- she should win." And...honestly, I don't doubt that. It's a sad world.
There should be an experiment where American Idol should be broadcasted on the radio ONLY. And see how much differs without the public actually seeing what they look like.
Ok-//rant. Was that even a rant?
I have a blister on my left middle finger.
What's wrong, Mel?
My right shoulder hurts.
Bohemian, before I meant to say "I *hope* your mom is okay."
Em, it's understandable. But, it really is amazing what good a little change of scenery and fresh air can do.
Some people...are just so rude; and should not flatter themselves into thinking that they matter that much in other peoples lives as to spread rumors about them. // end mini-rant.
Aww, Mel, that sucks. I'm sorry.

I despise group projects...no matter what, I always end up putting the most work into it/pick up peoples slack because I know my grade depends on it...
Mel, I know what you mean.
And I think I am just begining to experience high school drama.
