Exactly, the manner of dress for the Tonys is highly different than that of the Grammys.

If so, she probably wanted to avoid the press. She's an actress who prefers not to be a public figure. I don't blame her for skipping out after the awards if it lets her be a calmer and happier person.

I adore how she's managed to be considered one of our finest actresses yet she's not a public figure at all. And I've always thought of her as an old hippie, anyways which was exactly what I said to my friends last night when she won. And when she said her line about the last time she was in that theater, I just burst out laughing.
And why is everyone bitching about a jean jacket when THIS was allowed to run loose in the theater?!?!

It's Whoopi, Jordan, that's why. Whoopi would have made the jean jacket work without anyone batting an eye. She just would have hired Bruce Vilanch to write her 20 seconds of stand-up to do before introducing Sister Act's performance and she would have been golden.
Are you saying your not of fan of her recent shopping trip in Andre Leon Talley's closet? It's a shame he wouldn't loan her the matching riding crop for the night.

In fact, she was enjoying the after-party at The Plaza, wearing her jean jacket and throwing back a bottle of beer. She seemed quite content with herself. And completely relaxed with a bottle of suds.
