I love Joss Whedon. That is all :)
I loved tonight's episode. NPH was great. I absolutely love Jonathan Groff on this show. I hope they can find a way to keep him on next season.
Mike O'Malley as Kurt's dad is awesome.. BUT there is a huge part of me that always sees the host of Nickelodeon's GUTS!!! haha
I agree. He does a great job in the role, but I will always see him as the host of GUTS. "Do you have it?!?! GUTS!!!!"
cute interview on Fox news right now.
*sigh* he is too adorable.
He talks about his James Dean musical. He has a reading of it next month.
I LOVE Glee so much........I am not looking forward to the season ending!
Idina could not be more perfect as Rachel's mother.
Well i think this picture is all I need to peacefully go to sleep tonight.....

I will be buying Vogue for the first time ever!
Matt Morrison in a musical about James Dean. **faints**
Bravo to Joss Whedon on this episode. Everything actually seemed much more in control than some of the other episodes.
Love NPH and loved the cameo of John Michael Higgins as Russell (who played Jane Lynch's hubby in A Mighty Wind as well as her co-star in all those awesome Christopher Guest films).
I really am looking forward to the Gaga episode.
I am pretty happy that the Jesse as the mole went this route. I lol'd when Rachel told Jesse her theory that her parents are Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin.
I think my computer just started sweating after that picture was posted. Good LAWD!
i wasn't thrilled with tonight's episode. maybe i'm just a little sensitive because i have a spinal cord disorder, but to show one extreme (a miraculous recovery) and then the other ("irreversible, and i think you know that.")... i dunno, something didn't sit right with me.
i know it's a fun campy show but i was almost in tears, and not because of the "pull at your heartstrings' crap, but because of how misleading and inaccurate fox has been regarding artie and him having a SCI throughout the whole series, but i guess tonight was just too over the top for me.

He also played Molly Shannon's (Who was also in the circle) fiance on Kath & Kim.

OH. MY. LANTA. THAT PICTURE. I have a new desktop background! =] I loved this episode. I was so happy with the way they used Jesse and "I dreamed a dream" was beautiful. I didn't really like the whole Artie situation but "Dream On" made up for it! Great episode, but they need to incorporate Sue more! Where has she been?!

Wow, Susan Boyle as Rachel's mother. I didn't see that one coming.
I missed the episode while saying goodbye to folks. I am downloading it now to watch on my first flight. I walked in and mu mom said, "Do you want me to tell you?" I had no idea what she meant so I said yes. She said, "She's her mother!" lol
I knew she was going to end up being her mom.
... because television is always accurate.
That's all.
I still feel like there is going to be some sort of drama between Rachel and Shelby that is going to either make Rachel quit the Glee club again or something similar. It just seems too easy that Shelby is her mother and nothing else will happen or go down.
I still wish it was Patti.
Is Idina even old enough to have an 18 year old daughter?
damn! She looks great.
I don't know how I feel about how they reveal that Shelby is Rachel's mom. It seems way too quick. It's also huge news and would be fitting for a season finale.

Looking past all the Rachel's mother drama, I want to point out that they finally used Tina and her dancing was nice. Notice that they didn't have to cut away like they do with some of the others because the actress can actually dance.
I renew my petition, less Rachel and more of the other talented performers.
And I renew my petition that Puck should sing Mack the Knife.
and I renew my petition that Puck stay shirtless all episode.
Puck should do a lot of things.
Stuff I can't post here.
Overall, I really loved this episode. I was a bit worried about where the Artie storyline was going, but I think it was resolved well. I think it's important to remember that he is supposed to be a teenager and I would imagine that his feelings and frustrations are pretty realistic. To acknowledge that some teens (not all, but some) in his position would be dreaming of a miracle cure, is not offensive but I think pretty honest. And especially for someone like Artie, who is surrounded by singing and dancing all the time. I thought the scene between him and Emma was handled beautifully--I loved her tact. It's nice to see her character in her role as counselor every once in a while.
I agree that the direction on this episode was great and I am hoping that both NPH and Joss W. will returning at some point.

Not that it makes much difference, but I didn't think Rachel was a senior. I vaguely recall a reference to her being a sophomore...
Rachel is 15 since she was born in December, 1994. Assuming that her birth mom finished high school, the mom could be 32/33 and up.
