I used to do some Center activities, and dated a couple of women I met there, but ultimately, it just didn't work for me.
I have been to the Bingo at the Center...its a hoot!! Lots of fun....I need to go do that again!
I have gone to Bingo there with friends. It's fun.
Has anyone ever tried those speed-dating things?
I was gonna, but then I met my boy and...well...that put the kabosh on that!!!

Even if you're not Jewish, you can always find husband material.
Come to think of it, ESPECIALLY if you're not Jewish...

When is this bingo night??? I'll bring my Elhaba doll and my Kristen shrunken head for luck.
You show up at a restaurant and sit at a table. Then, a young gentleman sits across from you and you have a conversation for about six minutes. A bell rings, the gentleman leaves and another takes his place, for another six minute conversation. On and on it goes, and at the end of the night, if anyone struck your fancy, you let the host know and the host relays your interest to the gentleman. If the gentleman reciprocates, then you can go out on a real date and get to know each other better. Or just f*ck the sh*t out of each other. Whichever you so choose.
hmmm....sounds wild....altho I dont need it....16 years with my boy
I think robbie may be talking about Datebait or one of those mixers - I did one once and hated it - but others have had great luck. I think a BWW trip to gay bingo could be hellishly fun. its too bad that Sybil Bruncheon is not hosting it anymore - he was so friggin funny I used to almost p**s myself.
Meeting on the street is nice. Meeting in a bookstore is nice - there are lots of ways to meet gay men in NYC that don't include liquor or sex (at the beginning)...you just have to develope a knack for cruising...or at least be willing to catch somone's eye and not break contact right away. It comes with self confidence...

Ask yourself, what do I like to do? Once you figure that out, follow your nose. Believe me, there is a meeting place for every interest.

It's so 2004!!!
My only visit to Bingo was with a Bingo devotee. I got bored halfway through and started cruising, reading HX, etc. My friend got MAD. He grabbed my boards and starting pounding the numbers i missed with those $1.00 markers. Scary stuff.
