I like Larry King. Does that make me a straight liberal? (And I do know a thing or two about GOD, but I won't go there.)
Well, we do all unfortunately tend to engage in the ol' stereotypes here at BWW.
They're not always right. In the case of Gothampc being a big fat idiot, they're right.
But that's not stereotyping. That's a very educated deduction after years of collecting evidence.
I like calling him goth because Christians stereotypically hate goths because goths are often stereotypically any combination of wiccan, pagan, satanist, atheist, and homosexual. And secret Britney Spears fans.
Ah, but Robbie, I also conclude that Gothampc is a big, fat, pathetic guy who sits all day in front of his computer eating ham and Doritos and taking dumps in his drawers because he fits the profile.
And that's just a stereotype.
I looooooooove when Addy goes all BAD-ASS on us!
Ugh! I am straight and a liberal. I know about God and Gay people (not personally, but through this here message boards) and I watch Larry King every now and then. So, in the immortal words of Addy . . . "F*CK OFF!"
Personally, I didn't think many people of ANY stripe watched Larry King Live anymore. I personally find him a horrible interviewer. The last three times I've watched, he seems bored and detached and, in the case of the Dixie Chicks, didn't even bother to know which was which.
Whenever I am switching through the channels and I see a guest on there that I like, I pause and watch it for a while then keep on channel surfing.
"Not only that, but Conservatives rarely watch Larry King. So the only people that will be watching are straight liberals who know nothing about God or gays."
Once again, Gothampc comes up with the quote of the week.
Unfortunately he offers nothing to back-up his hypothosis, but instead chooses to drop the bomb...and run, the message boards version of a terrorist attack.
So GOTH,until you can offer up a little proof that Conservatives rarely watch Larry King, or that straight liberals no nothing about GOD or Gays...why don't you just go back to your old axiom of ...but...but...but Clinton. You'll still look a fool, but at least one who's easily ignored.
And he's gassy, bway. Never forget gassy.
And if no conservatives watch him, why does he have James Dobson on there so many times for softball interviews?

Calvin, it's obviously to educate the straight liberals.
To me, watching Larry King interview someone is like watching somebody get cornered by their lonely uncle at a family gathering, forced to answer rambling non sequitur questions that they've probably already answered 50 times that day. Not as bad as Tom Snyder, but at least with Snyder you might leave with an idea of a great restaurant to try out the next time you're in Davenport, Iowa.
Calvin, this has nothing to do with God, Gays, Larry King or Gothampc but how in the heck do you come up with 'em?
It was all those Jiminy Cricket cartoons as a kid.
That's quite the root.
Let's get back to making fun of Larry King now.
My favorite Larry King moment: After Hurricane Katrina, he had Celine Dion in full meltdown mode, cyring, and he asks if she can sing him a little something. Classic!
Wow! And all I wanted to do was let you all know about something that is really very exciting for my church!
interesting show. not sure what someone on the fence might have gotten out of it.
andrew sullivan actually did a stellar job piercing through some of the rhetoric as usual from the conservatives.
Yes, Andrew is not afraid to say what is on his mind. Fortunately, he also has the smarts to back it up!

I don't care, I can't abide him one minute. Not one.
Well, namo, I did indeed recall hearing about his bareback profiles everytime he put across his seemingly wholesome gay, Catholic image. But, maybe he's given that all up for Jesus?
I'll take Michelangelo Signorile and Dan Savage over Ms. Sullivan anytime.

No he hasn't. And then there's his neo-libertarian pro-crystal essay, the one where he talked about how CRAZY it was to regulate recreational drugs that had no more effect than drinking six cups of coffee. For gosh sakes.
And his playing both sides of the fence, token gay, and oh-my-the-Left-NEEDS-to-give-people-of-faith-all-due-respect=bill, on Real Time.
I'm still glad I chucked gum at the back of his head last summer at Showgirls.
you ARE Michelangelo!!!! :P
