That looks really weird to me. Plus, the first category is drama series. They have a separate category for mini-series or movie for TV.
Just copying and pasting. I'll re-paste the whole list now that it's up.
Oh, I realize it's not you! That's exactly the way it's listed on other sites.
It just looks like a mistake to me.
Hadn't actually read it yet, just saw that it wasn't here! I think there are still one or two categories not up yet.
Thanks for starting this thread, iflip.
I'm going to post the list in the current awards thread just so we can keep the discussion in one place.
I know the supporting categories are always a challenge, but it's a shame that Mayim Bialik was overlooked for Big Bang Theory. She elevates that show.
And why the hell is AMERICAN HORROR STORY still considered a mini series? VEEP has half the episodes that show has and it's still considered a normal comedy show.
And I'm happy that Netflix is getting nominations for their shows, but it really just proves the point I've made before that these awards need to be broken up for Network, Cable and now Online shows.
American Horror is considered a mini-series because every season is a self contained story with different characters.
That's ridiculous lol.
That's a writing choice, not a mini series. Especially now that so many shows are getting 12-15 episodes per season, there's absolutely nothing "mini series" about it.

I will post some mor of my thoughts later on today, but I'm thrilled for 'Parks & Recreation'!

Carrie Underwood was robbed. The Golden Globe judges need Jesus.

Agree 100 per cent.

Very happy for Josh Charles, who is incredibly deserving. And swoon-worthy, too.
And Mindy Kaling and the entire cast of COMMUNITY and so on and so on...
Orange is the New Black was almost totally shut out? Ridiculous.

Tom Hanks's chances of being nominated for Best Supporting Actor for 'Saving Mr. Banks' at the Oscars are getting slimmer. I wished 'The Way, Way, Back' got some nominations. It was one of my favorite films of the year. I guess the Hollywood Foreign Press Association fond 'Monsters University' polarizing for Best Animated Film.
I also realized that someone is nominated for Best Original Song again. Fey and Poehler better be careful!
The Rob Lowe thing is a typo, he was nominated for lead for KILLING KENNEDY and supporting for BEHIND THE CANDELABRA. No VEEP for Comedy is outrageous, but glad to see PARKS & REC in the mix.
Apparently, Variety is so upset about The Butler's snub, they listed it twice (ooops).
18 biggest Globes snubs, according to Variety
Already said my piece in the awards movie thread, so here's the rest:
2 time Golden Globe Nominee Taylor Swift.......
The Golden Globes are always into the hot TV show winning. Oddly Breaking Bad, that never got cited by the HFPA in its entire run, still technically qualifies as the 'hot show' just as much as Orange is the New Black, House of Cards (thank goodness this first year awards cycle can come to an end soon because zzzzzzz to it taking space in nominations), and Masters of Sex.
Homeland and Mad Men out entirely may be the new trend for both shows. I'd still put Moss and Hamm in their respective categories though.
Comedy's a mess. I guess Brooklyn 99 vs. Girls. Girls won previously but Brooklyn 99 is the newest show.
But JFC, to Ray Donovan getting anything. That show is horrific. It's like it came from a lab of what is 'trendy' in current TV dramas and came out all wrong.
Good for Monica Potter getting nominated for something in her Parenthood. I'll just assume Hayden Pannentierre took Anna Gunn's spot.

This last season of Mad Men sucked. The storylines were boring and the acting was on auto-pilot. Their next season needs to be strong. The show is fading fast.
Clearly based on their awards output trickling away, most people feel that way about Mad Men Season 6. That said, I still think Hamm and Moss really kept their parts of the story together and deserve to be recognized as much as they were in previous seasons. It's not like the world will fall off an axis if both got nominated again.
