Happy anniversary and a half Annie.
I'm definitely interested in hearing your review of RK's performance Amanda - but I'm afraid it won't change my mind. I won't be seeing it myself (I want to remember the charming Andre).
Speaking of which.... I saw Greg's 30 seconds of World Trade Center this morning. He's right - his name is on the screen longer than he is! It's a tough movie to watch - but still a very positive one. I wrote a review on the World Trade Center Movie thread. After the film was over a reporter for the Netherlands News Service interviewed me. I opened my mouth to talk and immediately started sobbing! Believe me - the world is watching how this film is being received.

Saw it tonight. Mamie, I agree with your accessment exactly. It is tough to watch, but it is also ... not to sound cliched ... inspiring. It shows the evil and the good that human beings are capable of, with the emphasis being on the good that came out in humanity after the attacks.
People were leaving, after it was over, weeping. Speaking for myself (but feeling I'm not alone here), it's a very therapeutic flow of tears.
As for Greg's brief time on screen, he conveys much through body language.
Aww, yaay for posts from Mamie and Barb and Annie! Haven't heard from you guys here in a bit...
I don't know. I wanted to see United 93, and I did, and boy was I sobbing and was that an experience, but I'm glad I went. I saw a preview for this and...I don't know. I just think seeing the visuals is...not something I...well, want to see, and I don't think I'd be able to enjoy this one like I did United 93.
We are on top of that Liz. Relax. That SOMEONE is pleased and that is good.
Anyway, I have decided that next Thursday will be DRS-Without-Greg visit #1. I will post the review that night

thanks Mamie
Amanda, I think you mean trailer right? cause when you said preview, I thought of broadway shows and a preview is the show basically. and so I thought you had seen it. but no.
Well yes, trailer. Though before you see a movie, you see previews. So I'm not wrong in calling it that.
ah, so you saw another movie and saw a trailer preview for World Trade Center. gotcha.
I feel I must add my love here for a true Prance
He is a gentleman, a Broadway star and an all around great guy
He actually took and signed my color program AND PLAYBILL without me asking for hm to autograph both... He was sooooo kind after I saw him DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS.

Yes, he is a very kind prance
I can keep going on about this wonderful man, but i'm sick and I feel gross.I'm going to take a nap
Bumping this thread from the Doom that is Page 2.
Hey, we're still doing much better than the av thread.
Well, we're no Sherie Rene Scott love thread...
The Liz Adams Love Thread needs to start making a comeback...
The Sherie thread rocked and you know it.
nice Liz.
but I like the one where Jack makes an appearence when Greg falls. His face is priceless. (it's on the "many faces of Greg" pic.)
Apparently Lucie's not well and will be missing a few shows. I may wait till she comes back; I *really* can't see Richard Kind with Rachel.
I went to the beach yesterday--awesome day, awesome weather, awesome water temp, waves...god I love it. Except for getting very sun burnt and being in pain now
I saw Richard on a few TV shows this weekend and I just can't imagine him as Andre. No matter how I think about, hes just going to be weird in the part. He'll be very different and new audiences will like him, but I just see him doing anything like Greg. He'll probably be very *I don't know* goofy.
He won't be anything like Greg. Greg's already said that you won't know this Andre at all - he's completely different.
Yes, and all change is the devil's doing!
*churns butter*
it is going to be weird.
Edit: article about Norbert. pretty cool.

LMAO!!! That's got to be one of the funniest things I've read in a while. Probably because it caught me completely off-guard.
Liz and I had a disagreement:
"Gawd"
Is it okay for a guy to use it?
Well, it depends...
Is this before or after you've quoted Rent?
