Whew! You folks don't know how glad I am that the BILLY ELLIOT news is finally officially out! They wouldn't let us report anything at Greg's web site before the news was released. :)

Editing post for MONK update:
It's now scheduled to air on Friday August 15!
(9 PM Eastern / USA Network; with repeats at 12 AM and 4 PM Saturday August 16)
(So basically they switched it and the other episode's air dates around.)

ok, I know I'm late on the news and everything but the internet in my room in San Diego doesn't work anymore and when i quickly check my email at the Globe, I forget to check the Jbara message board.
but now I have and all I have to say is: WOO-HOO!!!! Yay! so excited and such a good role! Good for Greg! I'm so happy for him! and back at the Imperial! Sweet!!!
and about Monk: darn it! I was so excited about this week. I hope I'll be able to see it in August. If not, I'll catch it online. hehe.

Thanks so much for the reminder, Barb. I've been so busy at work that I have a hard time remembering my name - let alone the TV schedule! I'd kick myself if I'd forgotten it.
I know Greg's way too busy to ever look in on this place (at least I know he is while the show is in rehearsals) - but I'll still offer him a big hello and best wishes for having a wonderful time back in NY and on Broadway!!!

Oh - cute show!
Did you notice when the guy was chasing that first girl out of the studio, the lights on the building were shining through his hair, making it look very light. For a while I thought Greg was going to turn out to be the killer! (Then I noticed that the killer was WAY too short)

yeah, i came back for the flea market. it was great!
and I'm hoping to see Billy Elliot on Nov. 1 with my college. on the waiting list for tickets cause I'm not in one of the theatre classes required to go. but what's great is that the lighting designer for it is a Dickinson alum (my college) and he's going to give a talk back afterwards. :) really hope I can make it.

I know!! I just saw it and love it!!!
favorite part: looking at a canister of carbon dioxide. "is this liquid nitrogen?"
I know he probably had the camera on the canister and was looking in the complete opposite direction, but it's still a little funny.
and his old room has no sink now and fits 7 people. 
and only a 19 person orchestra (w/conductor)? crazy!! our college production of A lIttle Night Music as 22 including conductor and our pit is a hell of a lot smaller than that pit.
