Millie, I didn't know that about Alex's dad. Thanks for filling me in. His eyes are amazing, but he has but Mer through hell and still has the nerve to call her a whore. At least she wasn't sleeping around while she was still married.
I loved the end when Denny asked Izzie if it would be wrong for him to feel her up. I think that Izzie is going to be able to give him back some of his sense of manhood. Hopefully he will be able to see that bad heart or no, he is still able to drive Izzie wild and make her fall in love with him. I am just praying that he doesn't die. I have a feeling that they will be able to save him. Remember in the preview where it said something about going against their doctor's oath. What if Izzie lets a patient die so that she can use their heart to save Denny? As awful as it sounds we can hope right?

As much as I can't stand McDreamy right now, my very wise friend brought up the point that until now, he really always has been the good, mcdream that he is. At least we kind of get to see another side of his personality (even if I don't like it and want him to get over his pms)
I think that Mer needed to see that so that she could really move on with her life. She needed to put him in his place for her peace of mind and he needed to be put in his place so that he would realize that he couldn't drag her along like that anymore. Meredith Grey just grew a backbone.

Yeah, I was really proud of Mer for chewing him out, that was great. Next week's episode looks really sad even though I'm not entirely sure what was going on in that preview. Who's looking foward to 20/20 on Friday night though?

That Friday night thing looks really interesting. I can't wait!
Two things:
What's on Friday night on 20/20?
And although i agree with everything everyone said about how it was important for meredith to do that, etc. I hate it when writers resort to "let's just make him a jerk now so viewers won't care if they're together anymore." That's so cheap. I hope it stays a bit complicated for the characters.
And Chris O'Donnell, though cute, is NO patrick dempsey.

They're doing a special on Grey's Anatomy at 9 I think. It looked cool.
anyone just see the advertisement for Grey's? Seems like there is a heart for Denny but he might not get it. and of course Izzy cries, then all of a sudden, there are gunshots. and someone, Sandra Oh's boyfriend I think, said "what are you doing?" which is probably not because of the gunshots but that is how they make it out to be. can not wait!

For total losers like myself who are home this Friday evening, there is a cool special on 20/20 about the medicine behind Grey's Anatomy right at this very moment.
I completly missed it...I wish I had seen it.

dang it! I missed that 20/20 thing...I wanted to see that. Oh well.
I am so excited for the finale!!
So, the finale is one hour on Sunday and two hours on Monday? Wow.

Yup.
The 20/20 thing last night...wasn't as exciting as they were billing it. It was more interviews and stories of the real people some of their cases were about (girl with half a brain, orgasm woman, someone else...I don't remember which). There was a short interview with Shonda, and the medical writers/consultants...its nothing that wasn't on the extras with the Season 1 DVDs as far as the show goes...
Ok well that is a relief, I was afraid I'd missed something good. Of course that would have been better than where I was. I went to an amazingly yummy new resturant with absolutely horrible service. I hate that waitstaff depend on the tips to make a living otherwise I wouldn't have tipped. I can't do that to people knowing that tips are what pay their rent and groceries.
Just finished rewatching Grey's Anatomy from last Sunday. It's always better the second time! Can't wait for tonight. Here's Meredith's speech:
"You don't get to call me a whore. When I met you I thought I had found the person that I was going to spend the rest of my life with - I was done. So all the boys and all the bars and all the obvious daddy issues - who cares because I was done. You left me. You chose Addison. I'm all clued back together now. I make no apologies for how I chose to repair what you broke. You don't get to call me a whore."
I'm really glad she spoke up for herself because like Dr. Phil says we teach people how to treat us and she can't allow him to talk to her like that. Now for my other favorite lines. At the end of the show Meredith voice overs:
"We're all damaged it seems - some of us more than others. We carry the damage with us from childhood. Then as grownups we give as good as we get. Ultimately, we all do damage and then we set about the business of fixing whatever we can."
I don't know who writes this stuff but I sure can relate.
