Yeah, I sort of see what you are saying now. I didn't hate the episode completely. It was a million times better than stuff from the second half of season 3, but it did seem weird after the long hiatus. I really really thought there was going to be a lot more explained. And all we got was Meredith in therapy and a stupid little feud between Cristina and Callie. I really hope Callie does get a bit better screen time next week, which it does look like it possibly might happen.

That said, I have a long ride to the city this morning. 6:30am on set for this movie, and it's 3:45. Didn't get into bed until almost 11pm, and couldn't sleep because I'm not used to this. So yeah, I'm going to be tired or hyper or both all day today.

I didn't see it as a fued and I don't think Cristina did either. I guess Callie was just being snarky. After getting her little bitchslap, being called a mangy dog, she popped right over and said, "You put in a good word for me right?" That was cute. I am kind of glad Callie got her backbone back, (which she is using all up on McSteamy next week) but where is Cristina's?

I still hate Izzie. She does $120,000 in unneeded tests and still gets a pep-talk from the Chief? And need they refer to how hot she is every episode? George was talking about her hot hair. Cheech was calling her beautiful. We get it.

I thought Meredith was great during the contest. She has SO grown on me this year.

I don't care for Hahn, but I will say this... Brooke Smith has beautiful eyes. She just needs braces.

****MAJOR SPOILER****
The big rumor is that Callie and Hahn are going to have a big kiss at the end of the season. Shonda said the season was going to end with a MAJOR kiss that is HUGE and no one will expect. No one else kissing on the show would surprise me. Well, maybe Derek and Yang. Bailey and Mark? heh. I think Callie is going realize everyone thinks she's with Hahn, sleep with Mark (not in the Addison episode, but the one after according to spoilers) and then in the finale realize that she MAY have feelings for Hahn. Someone said that Mark decides he didn't want Hahn after all and wants to stop being a manwhore and wants to be with Callie. It's gonna be a nutty triangle! On this week's episode when Callie is dancing with Mark, an extra on the set said that Addison says, "She's so pretty," and Hahn says, "No, she's beautiful." Addison gives her that eyebrow. Yep... something's comin'. Shonda Rhimes must love me.

Yeah, Izzie can just be locked in the linen closet that Lexie was stealing stuff from, for the rest of the season, for all I care.

Uh, and I hate the new spoiler about Callie and Hahn. I really dislike Hahn, so that's all I mean. Maybe if the woman for Callie was better, I wouldn't care so much.

I would SO watch that!!

I miss Addison hardcore, so looking forward to next week. I don't watch Private Practice- I tried, for the Addison fix, I really did, but I could NOT get beyond that awful pilot episode, what with the 'talking' elevator, and those bad characters. I thought I couldn't stand Meredith Grey (I am one of those who watches Grey's *despite* her), but I would rather watch her drown herself off of a ferry boat 8x/week than have to watch some of those PP characters again. So yay for Addison being back next week!

Yeah, I would much rather see Callie be a lesbian with Addison then with Hahn, that's for sure. I think part of the problem with Hahn for me, is that they would probably end up being a stereotypical gay couple. Well, what I mean, if it makes sense, that most people expect 1 person in the relationship to be girly, and the other to be all butch and manly. Certainly if that were the case, Callie would be the girl and Hahn would be the guy. I just don't understand why people think it has to be that way.

And I don't know if it's just me, but I actually don't fel it is right to refer to Hahn by her first name, Erica. It just seems weird to me. It's funny because the only characters really like that too are the Chief and Bailey. It's probably with those characters that most people refer to them by those names, so that's why it feels weird to use their first names.

Yay! Less then 8 hours to go! I really am excited for Addison and Callie interaction. :) Oh yeah, and of course Mark and Callie.

And totally off topic to the show, but I'm debating dying my hair similar to what Kate Walsh has right now. I'm gonna go to a stylist hopefully next week to get a second opinion. I almost thought about going darker, but it wouldn't work, unless I wanted to have black hair. Which I shouldn't, with my skin complexion. Seriously, I think that's the only color darker then what my natural color is.

Jersey, I had abandoned the show for a while and consider myself a lukewarm viewer (if I catch the show, fine, if not it's no big deal). I despise Izzie and Katherine Heigl, too. I don't know what it is. Ever just have an automatic, visceral, raging dislike for someone for no reason? I think she just rubs me the wrong way. I like all of the other female characters...Bailey, Christina, Callie, Addison...and, yes, even Meredith. As immature and indecisive and flawed (and annoying!) as she is, I think Ellen Pompeo manages to make her compelling. I just want to kick Izzie in the teeth.

Yeah, I don't like Rose at all. It was funny though last week when she randomly talked to Lexie.

Actually, I think I could name all the characters I like on one hand because the majority of them are really unlikeable. The characters I can tolerate all the time are Callie and Alex. Mark has sort of grown on me. I kind of hope George stops being stupid because he was on the like list, until he slept with Izzie. Other then them, the rest of the characters don't matter because they are annoying. Particularly Izzie.

This episode was SO good. SO SO good!!! Grey's is finally, finally BACK!! and by back I don't just mean new episodes: I mean it's actually getting GOOD again!! It's been a very long time since I've truly enjoyed an episode, and this one I did. Very much.

Still not the hugest fan of Rose and Ava/Rebecca, but other than that, it is like 1000000% improved from where it was when we left off before the writer's strike.

I love it. I wanted her to hook up with Addison, but I guess Hahn will be okay. I don't think the Mark thing with be long term. (Although, I wish it would. They are hot together.)

I hate Izzie.

Izzie and Ava/Rebecca are awful and I'm so tired of the drama that they stir up. I wish that Addison would come back. I was very bummed out when I saw the commercial for more Private Practice coming in the fall. I don't want any more of that show, I want Addison back on Grey's.

I LOVED Addison's speech to Meredith about letting Derek go. Meredith needs to get her stuff together and get Derek back from Rose because while Rose is cute and funny she annoys me.

I CANNOT stand Alexis for ANYTHING in the world. Mostly the actress but the character itself is soooooo painfully annoying that I just want her out of the show. She actually gets in the way of me enjoying it.
Otherwise it was a swell episode, especially because of Kate Walsh. She really belongs in this show.
I loved that Chandra Wilson got to do some acting, last week they didn't really showcase her at all when she is actually one of the best (if not THE best) actress that they have in the show.

I felt so bad for tumor guy's wife. To have to sit there and go through that and then lose your husband on top of it. So sad....

It also killed me with the little baby with the heart problem. Probably has something to do with the fact that within the next 4 days I will be a mom.

Yeah, Mark used to annoy me to death, but I really like him anymore. The skin flap thing was great. So what do you think will happen with Hahn and Yang? Cristina finally broke down and asked her for help and still Hahn was a jerk.

I dunno. I'm thinking that we'll find out more in the next couple of weeks about why Hahn has been so hard on Christina and then maybe she'll throw her a bone in the season finale. But I'm not sure when the finale is, so we might not have time to get to it this season.


But, honestly, I'm much more interested in the Hahn/Callie storyline. Amber, if you're reading this, I need some spoilers!

Spoilers...

Well, there are really no specific spoilers on the Callie/Hahn front, but there's lots of speculation. An article in EW says that in the coming weeks Callie finds love in the arms of someone completely unexpected. TR said in an interview at the GLAAD media awards that there is a "gay thing" in the finale that really surprised him, but he's happy that being gay is being represented front and center. Shonda Rhimes said the season is going to end with a kiss. A huge, mindblowing, everyone will be talking about it... kiss and no one will see it coming. Well, we all see the Callie/Hahn thing, but... Callie was SO freaked out that she grabbed Mark. That could be the unexpected part. If Callie initiates the kiss, that would be out of left field.

Some think the kiss will be between Yang and Hahn. I don't think so. Hahn said she reminds her of herself which is kind of creepy AND Yang slept with Colin Marlow and Preston Burke... BOTH of her previous mentors. I hope they wouldn't make her into a stereotype.

Hmmm, what else do I know... This week there is an HR issue and they make all the doctors list their past relationships within the hospital. This may be THE most ridiculous thing ever. I heard from a little birdie that after their little encounters and I would assume looking at his three pages of past sexual partners, Mark decides he wants more from Callie. She doesn't believe that he wants to change.

This coming episode also has a gay soldiers storyline and I wonder if that will work into the whole Callie/Hahn thing.
