The opening shot made me have impure thoughts.

When are you not having impure thoughts about Sara Ramirez, JerseyGirl?
Yeah, you have a point.

Is it just me or is Izzy extra annoying this week?
Izzy has been annoying for the past few weeks! But I did like this episode and it looks like there may be trouble in her little paradise. I like Callie, but I am glad she lost the job.
I am the biggest Callie fan on the planet, but she deserved to lose it. Maybe it will give her what she needs to get back to normal.
"Chemistry, you either have it or you don't."
WORD. None for Gizzie.
Now I wonder how George and Callie are going to try to work things out. You KNOW they are.
, this episode made me happy.
Why? I thought you would hate it. :/ They realized they have no chemistry. It was kind of sad.

As much as I love me some Callie, I'm glad the Chief finally righted things with Bailey. As long as we're fixing things, I suggest we scratch the George/Izzy storyline and keep Alex from screwing everyone in the hospital.
Sara had like 7 lines tonight. What a waste.
The Gizzie sex made me so uncomfortable that this will be the first week that I am not going to be rewatching. lol
I knew the relationship wasn't going to last JG. So I'm fully prepared for the break-up. I'm just embracing it while it happens.

I loved so much about last night's episode.
Im glad Callie lost her job. It was clear in the beginning that Bailey was far more suited for it anyway. Im glad the Chief saw this and righted things. Callie clearly belongs in the OR, not being in charge of everyone. As we've seen, she has enough trouble being in charge of herself sometimes.
As for the George and Izzie sex (I really don't have it in me to call them "Gizzie". The same way I'll never refer to Meredith and Derek as "Mer/Der") I think they went a little overboard trying to make it uncomfortable and awkward. I like Izzie most of the time, but I really wanted to clock her upside her head with her "box of fun." Seriously. Trying WAY too hard.
Speaking of trying too hard, there's Lexie. Who just doesn't get it. Who finds it imperative to be in Meredith's life even though Meredith's made it clear she wants no part. And it's not that she wants no part of it cause she's mean and rude.... it's not that at all. It's more the fact that she opened up and let her father and step mother in... she's tried.... and look what happened: Susan died and her father blamed her. It just reaffirms her theory that she's better off not letting anyone in because then nobody gets hurt.
But then there's Derek. She lets Derek in, just a little. And with each week it's a little more (though it looks interesting next week, what with him on a date and all). She loves Derek -- I've always said this -- but she's absolutely terrified of what will happen if she really lets him in. I get it.
I really don't like Hahn. I get that she's confident and sure of herself but does she need to be such a cocky, obnoxious bitch? I really want to hit her with a tire iron.
Next week should definitely be interesting...
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
I thought the George and Izzie thing might last a little longer.
Hahn telling Mark that he was not attracted to her, he was just attracted to the fact that she is NOT attracted to him cracked me UP. I STILL can't look at her without thinking, "It rubs the lotion on its skin. It does this whenever it's told." The idea of her with Mark made me a little ill.
I like Meredith, bitchiness and all, more than I ever did. Her reactions to George and Izzie last night were priceless. I just really couldn't care less about her relationship with Derek.

Oh my god, I totally forgot about that. I was DYING when Meredith got cornered by George and then Izzie. Loved it! Her faces were priceless.

Since Callie was "Fired," does that mean Ramirez will leave the show? or will Callie simply continue as a surgeon, just not in charge?

I think it means she will continue on as a surgeon. I don't think she was fired all together.... though that was left pretty open ended when she made that blanket statement to Cristina.

I think they want us to think she may be out, but considering Sara was on the picket lines in scrubs yesterday, she's still in. (I would have heard by now if she was out and would have started my own strike.) To be billed as a full time cast member, they have to be in at least 12 episodes and she is full time. Of course, they may ALL be guest stars this year since we may only be getting 11 episodes total.
I'm so happy! I finally thought with this episode Grey's got back on track ...loved the beginning with the dancing.

What song were they dancing to?
Their website hasn't posted the songlist yet. Check tomorrow. They have a music guide that tells you what scene the songs were playing in.
That was a good episode. A little predictable at the end but good. The ending was very "Sweeney"!
It was a good episode, but it was lacking for me. (Okay, just lacking enough Callie... but whatever.) This one seemed like it was getting back to the first two seasons which is GREAT.
I loved Cris/Mer dancing. It made me giggle. But wtf was Izzie's reaction about? She needs Wellbutrin or something.
I don't like Rose. I am not a Mer/Der shipper, but damn, if he is so in love with Mer, why the hell is he flirting with someone new and going on dates with Sydney?
Mark needs to get over the Hahn intrest. It makes me a little ill.
I want Ava to just go away.
The Seth Greene neck explosion was very fake looking. It was like something out of a bad movie. "Ha ha ha. Hee hee hee. Ha ha ha. *BURST!*"
And why would racist dude have a problem with any black or Asian doctor working on him, but he was leaning over the seat in the ambulance to tell Callie what was going on? Wouldn't he have a problem with ALL minorities? Bailey should have had Yang, Callie, the middle eastern psych dude and nurse Tyler all working on him.
So, no episode next week, (they are replaying the season opener,) then the second half is the following week and the last episode will air in January. The writers are sitting down Monday. If they can reach an agreement, we might get more mid or late January. If not, that will probably be it for the season.
And I think the song was Róisín Murphy's "Movie Star".
Gale Harold was an odd choice to play that role. It came off awkward to me. And the swastika thing was very easy to guess. Though I was half expecting it to be on his ass a la Cabaret.
I actually hated last night's episode, it was so ER. It started as GREY'S with the dancing, then the whole drama with the two guys on the ambulance, then the Gale Harold storyline, and the other guy, it was just so pointless.
I cannot stand Lexie, she is so utterly boring. I don't know if it's the way the character is written or the way the girl is playing it, but I just want her gone.
Now, Brooke Smith is a great addition to the cast. I want her to be a lesbian but I know she's not.
