Oh how I have missed Addison so!! Did anyone else enjoy the acting of Kate Walsh's *eyebrows* in last night's episode more than anything Meredith Grey? Or maybe that's just me- I think I feel the way about Meredith that y'all feel about Izzie.
Although I did lol at the "screw boys like whores on tequila"/"then try to drown ourselves" exchange. Hee- it's funny cause it's true.

is it selfish of me to want Kate Walsh back on "Grey's" and do away with "Private Practice" altogether?
that would mean tim daly, taye diggs, audra mcdonald and the rest of that cast would be out of a steady gig. . . but still.

Posted: 5/2/08 at 12:46pmNo, I totally agree about Kate Walsh. I watched a couple of episodes of Private Practice and gave up on it. She should be back on Grey's and be with Callie, and not Hahn. I think that's the whole reason I'm having a problem with those 2 possibly being in love. I love Callie, but I really don't like Hahn, and I only want the best for Callie.

marianne, let me get this straight.
you want addison back on "grey's" so she can be callie's lover instead of hahn? that would be soooo out of character for addison to all of a sudden turn lesbian. i wouldn't go for it.

I want Addie back, too. I don't think PP could make it without her, but she's so much better on Grey's. Maybe it's just because I am more invested in these characters. I don't care about anyone on Private Practice besides Addie, Naomi and Sam and that could just be because it's Audra and Taye. Actually, I like that they are a couple who have been together for years, divorced, but are still drawn to one another.
I propose an Addison/Izzie swap! Who's with me?
How great was Sara's uncomfortable laughter at the prospect of being WITH Hahn? heh.
And yeah... Kate's eyebrows deserve an Emmy!

Oh no, Addison should just come back all together. She doesn't have to be in love with Callie at all. I just think she is better than Hahn. And yeah, I know it would be out of character for Addison, but I would be more accepting of her and Callie, as I don't like Hahn.
I don't know about Izzie and Addison switching places. How about Addison come back, and Izzie just disappearing off the face of the earth, with no explanation? Okay, an explanation would be funnier, but in Izzie's case, I don't think too many people would care about what happens to her. I really thought it was pathetic how George had to tell her why the other interns didn't want to hang out with her, which makes sense. That just made me think that she shouldn't be in charge of any interns, as she didn't know how to handle them at all.
Yes, I nearly died of laughter with Callie last night. Sooooo great to see her happy and smiling for once, and not upset with George and Izzie, who are not even worth it.

kate deserves an emmy...period!
and callie is one of my favorites on this show. i love how flustered she got that addison suspected she and hahn were lovers. i think she's adorable.

um. THANK YOU!! I've only been of that opinion since friggin the season 3 premiere (the flashback scene STILL gets me. To this day.)! She really is SUCH a good actress, and adds SO much to the show it is ridic.
Just like.. the whole "vagina monologues" scene was the perfect example. I don't even know exactly what it is, but she's just so FUN to watch! She has this incredibly witty, dry sense of humor that makes you crack up just from the way she moves her EYEBROWS. hehe. That is something Ellen Pompeo/Meredith just.. does not have. Sorry Ellen. You're cute and pretty, but you're no Kate.

Posted: 5/4/08 at 2:00pmI still don't get how Katherine Heigl is the one with an Emmy on that show.

I don't get the hate towards Heigl, though poor thing does suffer from overexposure. It's not her fault though, I find her to be completely charming, sweet, and she comes off as very down to earth. Unfortunately, it seems that with her new-found Hollywood fame, the network or Shonda or whoever seem to feel obligated to do certain things with her role that just don't benefit the show or the character.
I miss first/second season Izzie. A lot. I thought she did give an Emmy-worthy performance when the Denny situation arose and she did not even get a nomination for that. Then she became a movie star and she got nominated and won for a season where Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson were the only ones that rose above the material. I still can't believe Oh and Wilson are Emmy-less.

The only reason Katherine Heigl bothers me, is that people think she's so facinating for speaking her mind. I don't get it. Plus, she does have an Emmy for the show, and Izzie has just turned into a crappy character. There have only been a couple of instances lately where she has been sort of funny, but not Emmy performace worthy.
Now, I would love for Sara Ramirez to get nominated because of how awesome she was in "The Heart of the Matter," but I doubt it will happen. actually, for what little screen time she had the episode before that, she was still brilliant. Let me say, it is a hot harder to act when you have no words, and just have to rely mostly on body language. Yeah, she did speak a bit, but really in that episode, was mostly body language for her.

Posted: 5/5/08 at 7:15ami don't get the dislike for katherine heigl either. i love each actor/character on the show for very different reasons. they're a great ensemble and each one contributes something special and unique to the show that keeps me tuned in week after week even when the writing or the storyline isn't up to par.
