re: HELLO DOLLY - Is a revival on the horizon?

Hmm too bad, in that case I'll go back to Patti La belle, Gladys Knight or Megan Mulally

Meryl Streep? (and don't tell me she can't do the accent. She could play Horace if she wanted to!)

You people have it all wrong! Bjork will be the next Dolly. I can just picture it now.................she is descending from the staircase at the Harmonia Gardens in a long silk red gown and a swan around her neck. She's got elegance.

If you check the webiste for The Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine, you'll see that the next Dolly is going to be Sally Struthers. And if this was already mentioned in this thread....sorry, I don't feel like reading 9 pages of Dolly predictions.

Queen Latifah! I'm joking, I seriously think Megan Mulally could handle it. And she'd make money. If not as Dolly than certianly as Ernestina.
I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

I don't know how old she is but she seems a little young.

Dolly has to be old enough to be afraid the parade is passing her by.

Has anyone thought of Jo Ann Worley. She briefly understudied the role when Channing played the original production.
