It is time. Has it even been mentioned? What actress can take on the challenge of the role while honoring its history?

I was just talking to someone who is very close to Jerry Herman. It seems as though Mr. Herman is "chomping on the bit" to get a revival playing on Broadway. He hopes that the Papermill prodcution will lead to a Broadway version.

I would love a reinvention. A new interpretation of it.

How about Tyne Daly? Perfect especially for the New York setting.

Harvey? While cute.. there is no need to shtick up this wonderful material. Georgia Engel? Hmmm. maybe.. but she has no Marquee value.

Tyne does not look so bad these days. They kind of frumped her up for Judging Amy.

Please god no. I am sorry. But no. I love Bernadette.. but she needs to do something new. She already has done two revivals in a row. The tourists don't need to go see her again. It would do her a world of good to get involved in something new.

Bernadette would be wonderful - she could sing and act it.

Daly does not have the vocal chops, and she's a bit too...rough or something.
