Me too! Here in the Midwest it's going to be distinctly un-fall-like however- we're looking at highs in the 80's!

I'm listening to Jo Stafford sing "Autumn In New York" today. The definitive version, comforting and haunting at the same time.

Now that's one of the many reasons to love Besty-he gives credit where credit is due!

Ahhhhh! Sleeping with the windows open and letting the cool whispers of air in...heaven.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

Reggie, you read my mind. I have hundreds ready from other falls I can use until I get some from this year, when I get home later~
Speaking of avatars, because of yours I picture you looking like that, or at least being as sophisticated!

Fall fell awfully quickly today...
So I'm bumping it up again for another ride.

Carol Channing doesn't think this is funny.

Fall has always been my favorite season. Partially because of the cool fall breezes and the changing of the leaves, and partially because I get to buy school supplies again. Can I interest anyone in a bouquet of freshly-sharpened pencils?

I grew up in L.A. so I never had the Autumns I would see on tv. Now that I'm on the east coast I love it so much!! It puts me in the best of moods. My favorite season!
