Best wishes to all my Jewish friends. May you know peace and happiness during the next eight days.
YAY!! Hunnukah!!!!
Hanukkah, oh Hanukkah, come light the menorah
Let's have a party, we'll all dance the hora
Gather round the table, we'll give you a treat
Dreidels to play with and latkes to eat
And while we are playing
The candles are burning low
One for each night, they shed a sweet light
To remind us of days long ago
One for each night, they shed a sweet light
To remind us of days long ago
I had a few latkes at a party tonight and saw Colin Hanlon there. I can't leave theater for one evening. Not that I mind in the least.

Happy Hanukkah to all those fellow Jewish people!
Weird, I made a Hanukkah thread this morning and it's gone...I guess they didn't like my spelling as much.

It's not gone. It's way at the bottom of the first page, and because this thread was started first, I'm guessing that's why yours kind of got ignored.
And for what it's worth, I'm not Jewish (so I probably don't get a vote), but I personally happen to like the spelling, Chanukah.
I am in sunny Dallas, Texas with the sun blazing. It sure doesn't feel like the Canadian Hannukah's I am used to. But I am surrounded with friends and family and that is realy what matters and what is making this Hannukah so great.
I wish you all a meaningful and fulfilling holidays, if not with your real families, then with the ones you have made for yourself.

Happy Hannukah, friends!
Corine, I think you dropped something. Ohhh, it was a name.
