Well, it's true that gifts aren't exactly exchanged until tomorrow (or not for another hour and 15 minutes), but those of us who already know exactly what we're not getting don't actually have to wait until the 14th.

Mamie, I know this may come as a shock to you and perhaps Valentine's Day is not the best day to tell you this, but your "Valentine" is a 14 year old homosexual who is incredibly materialistic.

I shot Cupid in the junk with my crossbow for his lack of efforts as far as my love life is concerned; so therefore the recieving of any sort of gift other than an STI appears highly unlikely at this juncture.
i'm a tough act to follow because when i'm done i take the microphone with me.

I am sure when my parents get home from work I will get like a card and something chocolate...

I honestly miss the days of elementry school (and even high school). Back when people got cards for everyone, or friends would get the little things sent to your first period class. Now that I'm in college, I'm not getting anything since I have no significant other.

Oh well I sent flowers to a friend (he won't get them until thursday because he is on tour and I thought of it too late grr). And I will do my usual sending online flowers to all my friends online.

Best thing I ever got? Last year my mom and I went to see Josh Groban on Valentine's Day...that was just amazing :). I'm not too bitter this year, just a little sad.

Single, so no gifts this year, but I am using the day to share with others how much they mean to me.

I got jammas from my mom, and chocolate from myself! SAD I know.
I also made myself a pretty cake. Shortly after taking a picture of it i broke the zoom on my camera. What a valentines day.

So everyone have some and enjoy!
