I've never met anyone with the prior knowledge that they posted here, but over the years I've gotten to talking with people at shows, stage doors, etc, and it's come up.

Edit: I also had a class with a poster that used to get a lot of heat here. I don't know if he still posts, but I never told him that I "knew" who he was.

I think that's it. Some have become good friends, a few don't post anymore. All in all, they were pleasant encounters. Absolutely no regrets.

Good lord...when I think of how many people I've met from the boards...and how much we've been through. It's probably why I don't cotton to stupid F*CKing sock puppets. When you've spoken at the memorial service of one of the most beloved posters here, who really wants to put up with the bullSH*T of Assholes?

I've met a handful of people from the boards, mostly the younger folk who (like me, unfortunately) don't come around much anymore.

Yes.....to one and a sorta maybe to two others (I think - it was 10 years ago)..

I think it should be a rule that you cannot use other people's pictures to represent you! At least not without the person's express permission.

I look like my picture

I have a baseball jersey that says "Eris" on the back and I've worn it to a few Broadway events. Dreaming has been the only person who came up to me about it.
