I forget what she is supposed to be good at: not acting, singing or dancing, obviously. She's proven tonight she's an awkward hostess, a really bad comic and piss-poor at assembling a variety show. What did she win on Star Search- did they have a train wreck category?

"Starting with Rosie O'Donnell. I'm sorry, but I just don't get Rosie O'Donnell. I've seen her in three or four movies now, and she has generally had the same effect on me as fingernails on a blackboard.
She's harsh and abrupt and staccato and doesn't seem to be having any fun. She looks mean."
Roger Ebert's Exit to Eden review
She was definitely most comfortable and most effective on her morning talk show. Rosie since then has just been........?

Perhaps it's displaying an enormous ego?
I did not watch her special tonight because I can't stand her. I liked a couple of movies she did, but not because she was in them. But, I don't know. Just lately she just seems to come off as being nasty.

I like her and think she was great on the View. I also adored her morning show many years ago. Sadly, I missed her show tonight.
"Sadly, I missed her show tonight."
Sadly, I did not.
LOL JEK, you beat me to it! There is nothing sad about missing it, Corine.
Sorry to hear that.
I still think she is an incredible interviewer.

Has there ever been a star less talented than Rosie O'Donnell?
Kevin Spacey
Brad Pitt
Keanu Reeves
Drew Carey, but he seems nicer.
Joe, I think Rosie's claim to fame is supposed to be that she's good for broadway.
Clay?

The history of showbiz has been filled with stars who are stars, not because they are great talents, but because they are stars. Rosie is a star. Madonna is not.
So, yes, there have been stars less talented than Rosie.
Though poor Miss Liza gave her a run for it tonight.
It was really a sad night when Rosie was more on pitch than Liza.
Not that either one was very close.
You know you're in trouble when a duet with a wheezing, shouty-voiced Liza is the most memorable thing in the show. It was so ghastly, it bordered on parody of a bad variety show.
Where was, say, Bruce Villanch material? Where was a whiff of a concept? Why was Alec Baldwin, looking like an unemployed history teacher (the Rober Hall look is a mistake), on the scene to chat about LIE exits? Why have men sniff your cleavage? Why do a double entendre with Clay Aiken about being gay aAnd have it go into wink-wink-ville with no payoff (couldn't HE sniff your cleavage and get a joke out of it, maybe)? Why talk about your teen son's 6 pack abs and use his adoption as a basis for a joke? Why do any of this, especially the night before Thanksgiving? And I'm a fan. A new low. A dreadful setback. A series? Not on your life. Sad.

No.
Ugh. I can't stand her.
After last night, I think her star will start to fade.

The only name that seems to be an accurate answer to the question is Andy Dick.
Vanessa Hudgens. She drives me up the wall.

Back in the days of STAR SEARCH she was funny. Honestly, she was.
