#1Have the Whos been saved by the blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ?
Posted: 12/17/08 at 9:23pmThey didn't have a single creche or manger scene and they gathered in a circle in the town square on Christmas morning rather than in rows at a church. Sure they know that Christmas doesn't come from a store, but what is that "Little bit more" that it means to them?

Posted: 12/17/08 at 11:40pmTrue, george95. "As the last supper was ended, he took a cup, raised it to his diciples and said, "Take this all of you and drink from it. This is the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me."

That's Maundy Thursday, not Easter.
I love the Peanuts Maundy Thursday special, when Charlie Brown spills the grape juice on Lucy's dress, and she calls him a blockhead. Then Schroeder plays "O Sacred Head Now Wounded" on the piano while Snoopy has a Red Baron fantasy sequence in which he shoots down Pontius Pilate's plane. Then Linus denies ever meeting Charlie Brown, and Woodstock crows three time.
It's almost as good as A Garfield Shrove Tuesday, when Garfield eats all the pancakes and learns a lesson about friendship.

Posted: 12/18/08 at 1:41pmPapa is right! Whos, not being human, can not be saved or achieve salvation. So Christmas really is all about presents for them, a circus act to distract them from their godless existence. I think anyone who has watched this TV special might burn in hell actually.

Posted: 12/18/08 at 9:00pmRight Maundy Thursday is important, but it was Easter that did the "saving" that the OP is referring to. Happy new year ; )

I hope they are saved. This country needs more saved people who know that the only way to Heaven is through the Salvation of Our Lord Jesus.

Posted: 12/19/08 at 1:31pmChristmas is fun and all, but I'd prefer just to have the commercial aspect of it. Pretty things, presents and Santa Claus. I like some of the songs, if we could just change the lyrics. I just don't get why this religion is more celbrated over the others. Personally, I'd rather revive the Greek gods. They were way more interesting and fun. And those clothes...HAWT! Since no one can definitely prove one religion is superior to any other, why not?

Posted: 12/20/08 at 1:07amChristmas rocks, I dont care what anybody says. I love how for one month, the entire world totally transforms into this crazy fantasy land of lights and music and decorations. Its also cool how differently everyone can approach the holiday: from the deeply religious going to midnight mass to the deeply skanky wearing a Santa-theme leather outfit.

Your enthusiasm is noted, but let's not go crazy with the modifiers there. I don't think the middle east "transforms" into something like you're describing at all.
