I don't recall them ever meeting...I think Mohinder knew Sylar was killing all these people, but not what he looked like.
I'm tempted to watch every episode online just to see...I'm snowed in today with not much to do.
It was a bit crappy episode. I'm getting so tired of the Jessica/Nikki situation, what's up with the mirrors? What was that with Nikki getting out of the mirror but not going into her body? Is Jessica a villain?
Also, does the new girl with the pink bag have powers? Hiro said she is "very strong."
Sylar needs to go, he is utterly annoying and lame.
ITS A GOOD ONE TONIGHT!!!
OMG Peter!!
I'm loving this episode too. Peter is using everyone's powers tonight!
ugh I hate you Sylar!! It's scaring me how many powers he's stealing...cause with each one, he's that much more unstoppable.
NOOO!
Oh. my. gosh.
That is tragic...so unfair...she was one of my favorite characters....caught between two men.
With all of his absorbed powers, I see Peter becoming a threat to Sylar in the future. The show is really starting to pick up!
I think Peter is the only one who can stop Sylar...he's already started absorbing his powers and he doesn't have to kill anyone to be able to do what they do.
Tonight's episode was easily the best in weeks.
here here.
and, yet again, i'm sick of Nikki/Jessica. i don't get it, and don't really care to. more peter, i say :)
Holy crap, y'all! Poor Simone - I guess that means Peter's vision isn't real, but I suppose we already knew that (or were supposed to).
And techno girl is real after all!
Am I the only one who just wants Peter to SHUT THE EFF UP? He's so whiney and emo and it drives me crazy. "I don't need to forget them! I need to REMEMBER them! And how they made me FEEL!" Godawful.
There goes my theory that anybody in Peter's vision would survive until he exploded. Too bad for Simone.
I say Simone isn't dead. I don't know... just a feeling.
Great episode tonight.
I want to marry Chris Eccleston and I just wanted to share. I saw him on tonight's episode while I was browsing, and then I flipped the channel and I saw him in 'Elizabeth' and I was happy.
Except now I feel sad that I missed all his previous episodes on Heroes because according to Imdb he's been in a few. I didn't know that he had made the switch to American TV.
i want to see Mohottie, I mean Mohinder, Peter, Nathan, Matt and Sylar in a makeout mosh pit!
Sylar needs to leave the show, his storyline is just distracting.
I don't understand why Peter became kind of the bad guy in this episode, it seemed to come out of nowhere in a way, and what was up with that scream that made Isaac fly across the room? Where did he pick up THAT power?
Once again Hayden Panettiere shows off some of her great acting, she really makes Claire one of the strongest and more complex characters in the series, one of the few "heroes" that does not need to use her power to be interesting (unlike Nikki/Jessica).
They got rid of two characters that I thought would stay for a while: Simone and Ando. I suppose the Hope storyline was only there to let Ando go, I didn't see much reason to it apart from that (and also to prove that Hiro's powers are still there). Why did Simone have to die though? She was definitely one of my favorite characters.
my mom and i honestly thought claires mom was gonna be the one to die. we don't feel she serves much purpose if any on the show. and this whole memory-loss thing has been drawn out like no other. so the haitian dude can erase memories, so what, we can clearly see that. now WHY is he erasing memories and what significance is that to the story...?
i didn't care for Ando that much. he was just odd. and totally cramping Hiro's style :)
Simone was cool too. I liked her a lot. But i'm not heartbroken that she died. i actually didn't even think that it could be her to die. In fact, i was very surprised and taken aback, something that honestly (love the show to death and all, but...) hasn't happened to me the past few weeks.
nathan's just a a**hole. i'm quite sick of him. yay, peter can fly officially, now we can get rid of the nasty poophead politician. and his little mom too. i just hope he somehow redeems himself.

Heroes is Eccleston's first American TV project, so you haven't missed much, Revolutionary. If you have a decent broadband connection, you can watch his episodes on the NBC website. They're "Godsend", "The Fix", "Distractions", and "Unexpected." Thanks to one of the promo clips, I'm also about 80% sure he'll show up in next week's episode. It's nice, because I've barely seen him in anything since Doctor Who, and all his great parts have been in British TV projects that are a bit tough to find in the U.S.
The Hiro/Ando story needs to be given a week off every once in a while for its own good. I get that Hiro's the most popular character, but everything he's done since Charlie died has been really stretched out.
Wow. Wow wow wow.
That had to be one of the better episodes of any TV show I've seen in a long time.
And this may say a lot about my personality (or at least my artistic taste) - I never cry at anything. No movie, show, song, book, anything, has made me cry. I'll have emotional reactions- chills, leave feeling depressed, etc, but never any tears....but damned if I wasn't the closest I've ever been at the end of this episode.
****SPOILER FROM SCENES FOR NEXT WEEK*******
Did anyone watch the scenes from next week? Simone?? I don't know how I feel about her suddenly being "one of them." But right now, for me at least, this show can do no wrong...
eh i was kinda over Simone... i don't like the idea of her being "one of them." it seems anyone could be... how many mutated humans can you fit in one city? well, let's find out...!
i agree this was one the better episodes of TV i've ever seen.. and, let me tell you, i watch LOTS of tv lol. i like how they focused on one story line for once. i was happy as ever to have a break from Hiro/Ando, Nikki/Jessica, and Milo's bad acting.
and i was happy that Claire's mom wasn't the one to die last week. i thoroughly enjoyed her tonite and thought she had lots of purpose :)
dang, that was awesome.... woot.
i missed the first 20 minutes, but the last 40 were AMAZING.
I know it wont happen but Hayden deserves an Emmy Nomination.

Oh, HRG. And Claude. And Haitian. And Claire. And Mrs. Bennett. And Matt. And...and Mr. Muggles! "I'm not gonna nuke the dog!" Man, did this show benefit by concentrating on its strongest actors and deepest storyline exclusively for an episode. No bland Isaac or pointless Niki/Jessica or needlessly stupidified Mohnider or Hiro. Just the juicy stuff- family, identity, loyalty and betrayal.
It's a teeny tiny world, and I bet Claude is the only one who's made all the connections between Odessa and New York. Especially now that HRG is going to lose his memories.
That episode was CRAZY. So much backstory revealed. The focus on the Bennet family made this episode the best yet. I agree with Hayden receiving a nomination; IMO, she's the most emotionally-invested actor on the show. I'll admit I cried a little at the end.
Only one or two more episodes until the end of the season, correct?
