Me neither, I guess that's part of what I'm interested to see, how everything ties up, because it is so scattered. As far as Claire's dad...that guy in the desert was just the radioactive guy from earlier episodes, so I'm not sure about that. But hey, maybe. I agree that the Sylar line has gotten pretty dumb. When the show started that was like, the whole conflict, that Sylar was the villain. Now it doesn't even really seem like there is a villain (Claire's dad sure is creepy but I don't think he is necessarily trying to do anything evil). But I guess we'll see what happens...
Oh, I did not realize that was the same radioactive guy they had been showing in the previous episodes. Thanks for pointing that out.
Another interesting fact I noticed about the episode was that Mohinder told Nate that Peter was more like a sponge, does this mean that once Peter is able to control his powers he'll be able to recall previous powers he has absorbed? This could make him THE most powerful hero and perhaps the reason why Mohinder said that he was so important for his research.
Where are the Heroes fans?
Monday's episode (which I finally watched online) was excellent.

I am sorry-grateful that I miss the airings every week due to my schedule, but get to watch them online every Tuesday morning!
I watched the commentary for this week's, too. Quite interesting.
TAKEI!
I haven't seen them with commentary. I do want to re-watch, as my connection was having MAJOR issues.
Though I am happy that starting this week I get to see them "live" for a few weeks, before my schedule picks up again.
Could someone who saw it give me a quick run down of Monday's episode? Especially about Claire's daddy?
thank you.
Hoo boy....HUGE SPOILERS!!!!
For Pippin - Claire lied to her mom so that she and her friend could drive down and meet her mom. Her mom has fire-power basically, so she can make flames...At the very end of the episode the mom calls the dad and tells him that their baby is still alive...the dad is Nathan Petrelli.
Other than that, Simone and Isaac kinda get back together, and Peter gets kind of mad, then the invisible man pushes him off the roof to make him fly. He doesn't, and gets impaled on a taxi, but he thinks of Claire and uses her regeneration powers, so he CAN use powers when people aren't around. But then he gets overwhelmed thinking about everyone he loves (or something) and starts freaking out, so the invisible man has to knock him out.
There were other plots I guess, but those are the important ones.
I TOTALLY called the Nathan bit. Saturday, I was talking to my friend on IM, and I go, "I totally think Nathan is Claire's dad." And she goes, "No, because in ten years Claire and Peter have to get together!" Tough for all the people hoping for that storyline.
lol - I was just about to post how sad I was that Peter & Claire can't get it on now...
So what was that all about with Hiro's dad? I do not understand how that added anything to the plot. At first I thought he was Linderman, but I guess not.
Ugh. Just watched the new episode, and I did not like it at all. Peter is the most interesting thing about the show and he wasn't even in the episode.
Possible mini-spoiler
I thought it was quite good... the first few minutes were filled with information. I liked how they are growing... and not happy about Parkmans deal with the diamonds. And I want to know what the deal with Linderman is...
It wasn't as good as last week. This one was a bit on the crap side. I think it's the dialogue that brings it down for me. For example:
"This is gonna be fun"
"I come in peace"
Seriously? How cliché and lame. Sylar is just annoying me now. He shouldn't even be a villain. Sucks at it. Back then, some people would fear him but now he's all out and about so that makes it less interesting for me. I'm glad Peter wasn't in the episode though. I'm getting a tad tired of his nervous destroying everything attitude and/or whatnot. Another thing I don't like about HEROES are the lame taglines and it seems there will be a new one next week. I wasn't paying much attention.
*spoiler*
I actually really liked this weeks episode. I thought it was a bit lame though that in the previews how they said that there was going to be a new heroe. They killed the man in the first 10 minutes of the show. Plus all he could do was melt metal.
All he could do? That's pretty incredible... plus from the last sequence, it looked like he could melt more than metal... there was a melted coffee maker and other plastic stuff too.
I agree, the writing is like, the worst part of the show. Lots of cliched lines and everything...
"Someone flies, someone dies" next week. Like...seriously? It makes me embarrassed to like the show. But I do like the show. This just wasn't the best episode. I agree that Sylar has also lost a lot of his intrigue. Lame.
The show is great; the taglines gotta go. I'm sure the writers hate the marketing people.
He can JUST melt metal?
That could be a very dangerous power for Sylar to have...melting metal doors...melting vehicles...ect
Sylar has the worst motivation ever...take everyone else's powers so that ONLY he has them? Seems kinda dumb to me.

God, marketing people are awful. They actually make me glad I watch TV on my bitty laptop monitor.
That said, this episode was nice. It actually managed to satisfy me despite the sad lack of Eccleston. Matt, especially, was at his best- they made great use of his powers and his police training, for once. Everything in Texas was great, too.
And Sylar is a power-mad sociopath. I think the "power-mad" part is simple enough- he wants all the toys so no one else can have them.
If Sylar can now melt metal - do they need to put him in like a plastic cage or something if the catch him?
It was strange to see the "melted" things in the apartment. Some of them were completely melted, and some had things like the knobs and dials sitting in the molten mass. I understood all the "test" melts...like half the phone but the others made it seem like maybe there were a few substances he coudn't melt.
However, this melting ablility is going to make keeping him contained very interesting.
I also wonder if Syler is going to be able to combine the various powers......Can he control your mind while melting your car?
Hadn't Syler volunteered to help Mohinder's father track down the various "heroes"? I thought I remembered a scene like that...of course, maybe I'm making it up...
Umm was i the only one that thought Mohinder had met Syler before?
I don't recall them ever meeting...I think Mohinder knew Sylar was killing all these people, but not what he looked like.
