Outstanding! And
SPOILER ALERT
Hiro's Dad involved too! Insanely intense. I too was moved a few times last night. And I think that Claire's mom is an underrated actress. Best Episode ever!
I thought they were signed on for 24 episodes. at least I hope so. that would take them all they way to april or May, the finale months.

Last night's episode was the best one they've had in ages! Actual plot progression! Yay!

This week's episode was one of my favorites. And watching the commentary was a lot of fun.
I liked the concept of focusing on the one family - though I doubt many other families in the show could carry a full episode.
When I saw Takei's name in the credits I got exited. I knew it wasn't just a cameo for one episode!
Company Man (the last episode) was episode number 17, so if they are having 24 (which i assume they are cause thats pretty much the norm for a 1 hr drama) then that means there are 7 more episodes, meaning if there is a new one every monday and they don't do a 2 hour season finale then the season finale should be Monday April 17th.
I just finished watching this week's episode and I agree, it was probably among the top 3 best so far. It reminded me of how good Lost used to be when it came to flashback narration. The focus on the Bennett family worked incredibly well and I loved the mother, the conversation she had with Nuclear guy about God was very touching (I'm agnostic but I still thought it voiced a lot of people's questions about who is making this people the way they are).
Who is Claude? I wonder what memories are being erased from Mr.Bennett, I was hoping it'd be the memory of him calling the Haitian, I don't want him to forget Claire.
Is Hiro's dad Linderman? I figured he was involved when he kidnapped Hiro for a bit, otherwise that storyline would have made no sense.
Hayden Panettiere keeps surprising me with every episode, she really could play the generic cute little cheerleader card on us but she always makes unique acting choices and gives a solid performance(it helps that her character is one of the best-written in the show).
I don't see the show on TV so I don't get to see the previews. Is Simone supposed to be another hero now? That's a bit annoying. I wish they stopped focusing so much on showing people how many powers they can come up with and start tightening the plot and character development. And please get rid of Sylar, it was so relieving to have a Sylar-free episode.
What do people think the company Mr.Bennett works for actually do? And how about techno girl working for Bennett? Did she lie to Nuclear guy or is she a breach in the company? Who do you think invisible guy was hiding? Ah, so many questions. I really enjoy this show.

They showed a recent commercial that said Linderman revealed - some old white guy with white hair and beard.
It was nice to get what felt like a real under standing of Claire's father. His affiliation has been up in the air all year and I feel like we finally got the pay off. He was just man doing whatever he thought was neccessary to protect his family. I really sort of feel for him now.
Who is this techno girl...? The girl in the lab...? Where had we seen her before? And why don't i remember? haha
she was the one that they "revealed" during Deal Or No Deal a few weeks ago, the first time they did the "tune in early for a new hero."

No, that was Hana. Hana is ex-OWI and obviously working against them; that's why she sent Matt and Ted to HRG's house. This new person works in the OWI.
SPOILERS
I'm getting my spoilers mixed up, but she's either a shapeshifter or someone with "the power of seduction". I really hope it's the former, because really now. Isn't Niki/Jessica more than enough vagina dentata for one show?
I thought Hana was the same girl working at the lab.
Is Hiro an OWI baby, then? What is Hiro's father connection to all of this?
Am I the only one who hasn't figured out what OWI does with these people?
Hiro's father's conection has yet to be determined, he obviously has some connection high up at OWI though.
What they do exactly is still up to question, but at the heart of it seems to be treating the "heroes" like lab rats. Using them in experiments and then killing them. (most likely)
SPOILER
My question is how Claude lived after being shot what, 4 times in the heart and then falling of a bridge?
My other question is how Claire is 15?!?!?! though she's a junior in high school (I think one episode mentioned she was a junior), and CLEARLY is not 15.
He didn't.
She is. (although I think she is supposed to be close to 16)

Claude probably wore a bullet-proof vest and blood packs, and hung off the bridge invisibly until HRG left.
Just joining the chorus - fantastic episode. Very touching, and they really humanized HRG. Sad to see him lose his memories... and Matt working for him now? That would prove interesting.
APRIL 23?!!!
So she did die (I can't think of her name right now), and HRG was duped. This gets interesting... not as intense as previous episodes, but I thought a very interesting groundwork was laid.

that is a horrible choice to make the fans wait that long. 6 weeks?!?! I hope they don't lose interest. That was Lost's mistake this year- to many long waits, plus the fact that they leave to many things unanswered, apparently. Anyway- it was still a good episode, and a great cliffhanger, but who's gonna remember what has happened with every storyling for 6 weeks? Hope it doesn't bite them in the arse.
Could someone please kill that shape-shifter girl? In addition to her character being a total bitch, she's a bad actress.
Seriously...I just wanted to slap her. Great episode though!
Well... Peter can absorb Sylar's powers, so it figures we're gonna have one helluva fight on the 23rd.
People I talk to all seem to think that Heroes is a one season deal. I can't understand how that would be... but then again, look at what happened to Lost - after Season 1 the novelty went away and they never did recapture that interest.
I think we'll eventually learn the story behind "the symbol". Perhaps it's a mark on the "heroes" who work for the same company as Mr. Bennett.
I have to say, this show has the best closing scenes. I mean, the drops of blood and then a lock of Peter's infamous bangs??? I can almost hear Milos Ventamiglia screaming "Yes...now I can get a haircut!!!!"
And I don't think Mohinder will die. He's too important to Syler. Yes, Syler has the current list, but according to Mohinder there are more people to be found, and Syler can't do that himself.
And I wish they'd have picked a different actress to be the shape shifter. She looks WAY too much like the girl who can send emails with her mind. I originally thought that the whole "revenge on Mr. Bennett" thing was a set up. And what did happen to her? We saw her in the desert, then we saw her when she first met Parkman, and then she disappeared.
So...do we think that Peter and Nathan's mom has a power too? And I can't wait to see if Parkman's baby has a power.
