I think I have lost interest in this show. I was watching the season premiere almost half way, and then I decided to watch a rerun of Frasier I recorded instead. The first half of the first season was amazing, and then it just stopped being fun. Sylar isn't even remotely scary anymore. Now all I see is that gay guy in that Tori Spelling stint on VH1 a year or two ago.
GOD I love Sylar. He was so fascinating to watch this episode. I wanted him to do some more damage, though. Just the knowledge that he could take those guys out SO much worse than he did. It's like...Peter could do something like that, too, but never WOULD. I totally want Sylar to be able to be in that...working for the good guys but will totally mess you up in a NOT nice way.
I feel bad for Matt being stuck in a god-awful plot. I kind've saw Hiro and Ando getting the formula stolen while trying to NOT get it stolen coming from a mile away, but the actors are so charismatic that it still worked.
I'm looking forward to the inevitable meltdown that occurs when Claire finds out her father is working with Sylar.
Bumping this up for last night's episode. The fight in the future was one of the best scenes in the series. Anyone else wondering who Sylar's kids' mom is? Notice he was named Noah and they had the dog Claire's mom always carried around....
When the words on the screen said "Sylar & Noah" or whatever, I thought "yay, another season of a gay couple raising a child together!". I was MOST upset that Noah was the kid. Matt and Mohinder are RUBBISH this season, I much preferred them bickering like an old married couple.
I'm really not gelling with this season so far. I don't get it; I thought these characters were great back in the first season, but now I want Hiro to stop being so cartoonish (writers, you've got a GREAT character here, stop giving him such stupid stories!), Claire to get a good damn slap (except she wouldn't feel it; she could be good this season but I'm really really fed up of her), and even Nathan with his invisible Linderman and incredible good looks aren't managing to keep me that interested.
PLEASE let's get Matt out of Africa, and can we bring back Monica and Micah? I like those two. Although knowing my luck, the writers would do something annoying to them too. XP
I'm so lost now! Why Ando?!

i thought i'd bring this thread back... so after a VERY VERY VERY disappointing first part of Season 3 aka Volume 3: Villains... i went into Volume 4: Fugitives with more skepticism and not much excitement... all i can say is that after last weeks exceptional return and tonight's equally exceptional episode that i'm starting to slowly have my faith restored in this show... the writers finally have given the heroes something real and tangible for them to have conflict with and have made Nathan an actual enemy for them (as well as finally having Sylar just be a complete bad ass)... i look forward to seeing this show continue its momentum
Anyone watch the finale last night?
I haven't been watching religiously, but enough to keep up with what's going on. The ending was ... interesting. Still pondering how I felt about it, though the final moment was quite good.
I watched it and thought it was actually pretty good, though I was PISSED that they AGAIN denied us seeing the showdown between Sylar and the Petrellis! At some point they need to pay that off and actually SHOW us a fight!
I'm guessing we're going to be getting a Jekyll/Hyde thing next season now as Sylar starts to peek through. Interesting...
And though I like Ali Larter (great eye candy), enough is enough with the Nikki/Jessica whatever nonsense - they don't explain who she is and what her powers are, but she keeps coming back!
The momentum to the finale was good but I HATED HATED HATED they way they ended the season. HEROES does not know how to end a season, point blank. Plus, Sylar (Zac) won't be in it that much now, which ticks me the hell off.

Umm Jason, that's not Nikki/Jessica. That's Tracy, you know, the completely different person. She froze herself and then was shattered while saving Noah from Danko? Well, clearly, you can keep a good Icicle down.

Let's not forget that Nikki and Tracy are from a set of triplets: there's another one out there...

where she was frozen, and eventually melted and ended up in the sewer/water system.
EA, didn't she promise to take revenge? "you're number four" Looks like she's taking people out.
