I agree, DD. It wasn't fast-paced, but there was a lot put into character motivations and laying everything out for the final episodes. It's interesting that Suresh is helping the company cure Molly to help stop Sylar, but she's undoubtedly the "system" that Bennett mentioned that they have for locating people -- and if you believe what they're telling Nathan, they want the bomb to go off and Nathan to take the White House. So one or the other of them is apparently being played. I also have absolutely no idea what Linderman wants to happen or why he needs Mikah (but whatever happens, I hope they off Candice sooner than later -- what a crappy plot point of a character).
I am interested to see what the web is all about - the connection between the company, Linderman, and whoever Mrs. Petrelli and the Haitian are aligned with.

Which one is Candice? The shape-shifter? Sylar obviously kills her to get her power.
I thought Micah was going to be used to contain the explosion - but I don't think that fits in with his power.
I'm very confused. Sylar can't be killed because he has Claire's power...so if Hiro had saved Claire instead of Peter than Sylar would be killable? Is that the point?
I didn't think Sylar has Claire's power. He has to kill the person in order to take their power, right? Peter simply absorbs another's powers.
Right, Claire's still alive, so Sylar hasn't picked up her power and can be killed. The larger problem is that (unbeknownst to several of the characters who are trying to stop Sylar), Peter is the one who ends up exploding. And he has Claire's power.

Yeah, I was just hoping it happens soon. :)
Also, I thought this episode was interesting in that I found myself pitying Sylar a little bit. Sure, he's a psychopath, but I was surprised to see that he has regard for "innocent' human life.

Yeah, and it also started to make some sense as to why he is so messed up...I mean his mom was pretty crazy, and always was telling him that he was special and all that.
What I don't understand is why time resumed again right before Hiro killed him. Was it just because he lost his concentration?
That was my assumption - Hiro must have not been able to do it (imagine killing someone - anyone - in cold blood up close like that...) and time unfroze. After all, we did see Audrey...uh...Sylar's mom unfreeze...
So...if Peter has Claire's power of regeneration, it would be possible for him to be the bomb and still live, no?
Yes, that is what we are being led to believe ...
Just to clarify a few posts back. I believe Linderman is using Micah to rig the electronic voting machines in favor a landslide victory for Nathan. Next episode is title Landslide, after all.
Ooh. Of course! Why that hadn't even occurred to me, I don't know.
As I feared, Peter's mom is working for Linderman, what I don't get is why she is trying to hide Claire, unless she's just helping her behind Linderman's back.
Can someone explain Nikki to me? I thought that she just had some sort of psychological disorder and that she needed to become Jessica to let her powers out but today Nikki talked to Jessica through the mirror, so are they different people and one lives inside the other? Very confused.
The episode was extremely boring indeed. I do wonder if Nathan is being played out though. I was hoping Sylar wouldn't kill Candice since the whole shape-shifting power seems like an easy way out for the writers, the shape-shifting tactic gets old and they've used it way too many times since they introduced this character.
How many episodes left? Three?
I've been pondering what the alliances are. Petrelli mom is in with the Haitian protecting Claire, yet she's working for Linderman, who is in charge of the company, no?
And don't forget Hiro's dad. He was in that flashback episode and was obviously involved with something or other. I keep waiting for him to show back up. It will be a very interesting last three (is it two or three?) episodes.
I don't think that Mrs. Petrelli helping Claire is necessarily contrary to the mission of Linderman and The Organization. Perhaps Claire is the one person who can stop whatever they have planned and they want her out of New York when everyting happens so that it can all go according to plan.
Hiro's father is scheduled to appear again this Monday night, with tons of revelations about him and Hiro's family in store. We don't have spoiler tags on this board, so I won't tell you what to expect, other than this: Hiro's broken sword will not be a problem, nor will his lack of samurai skills.
Holy ****. This episode was AMAZING! I cannot wait until next week!
How the hell did Nikki's husband do that? It was SO cool!
Hiro's father was also awesome. I cannot say enough about this episode. I want to know more about Nathan's mom.
i missed it!
*throws self on the ground and sobs uncontrolably*
is there another channel that replays this week's episode?
That was SO gross.
eta: Abba, you can watch it tomorrow on NBC's website after 2 pm, I believe.

yippee :)
It was pretty amazing! So many cool things happened and now I can't WAIT for the big finish.
Oh, gosh golly, that was good. (I just finished watching on my computer at work, so I had to keep my language clean!)

I know DL can go through things, but I thought it worked vice versa. Remember when Jessica tried to shoot him but she had to wait until he was unprotected AKA wasn't listening for her.
So - shouldn't he be alive knowing that the bullet was coming?
